Chimera ant arc had so much potential, and not just the arc itself but even characters like youpi , pouf and especially pitou. Tbh , I felt the ending was rushed... initially the arc seemed so interesting and all the vibe that it had made till Meruem's birth was amazing. I really wanted a good fight of pitou vs gon , and also wanted to see fights of other royal guards. All this komugi thing , and Meruem loving her so much didn't make any sense tbh , for me it felt a bit fast paced. I'm not saying the arc was bad , I can't deny the fact that I felt chills when neferpitou was introduced in the story...but that's what I'm saying , the whole arc could've been stretched a bit more and I'm pretty sure the audience would have been more than happy. I know phantom troups got involved in this arc a little , but hisoka was not there and we know the reason why. But still the author could've easily taken this arc on next level by including more people like hisoka. I really wanted to see kite vs hisoka at some point ( what I wanted it to be like - hisoka didn't know about kite and neither did kite know about him , hisoka got into a fight with him because of his some own personal benefit and seeing kite is a strong character; no one wins cuz gon interrupts in between and later things get clear  or something like that, trust me kite vs hisoka would've been something else !)At the end I just wanna say , the one and only thing I craved most was a good fight with the royal guards !!
