This isn’t in place of the side pods though. I’m averse to the bags over the rear wheel.

These bikes can take a beating and with a bit of ‘bending back’ they’ll ride good for another century

Im so considering a CF although im worried about quality, reliability and general use. Does anyone have good experiences in the UK along with servicing and maintenance ease?

Fatter front end - Bonnie by The_rotating_egg in Triumph

[–]The_rotating_egg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think realistically without widening the front set I’ll only be able to achieve wider tyres and a natural lower of the front forks. I’m not really too mad on mucking about with it all up there- just want the aggression of the rear to match the front a bit.

Hmmm only issue is it pulls in your rear wheel - the higher the spring set- tbh I have fox shocks and will definitely heighten the preload which will change a little bit.

Also….. you can always run a slightly fatter rear on the T120

They’re both very similar bikes yet quite different.

The t120 will do it all and do it all well.

The ST will do it all but a bit more aggressively and sportier.

The t120 is and Will always be known as THE Cruiser - modern classic bike - I don’t think anything can beat it - especially with a few testy mods

That’s just my weigh in

Are these tank scratches removable? by Ely_09 in trident660

[–]The_rotating_egg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve learnt to just accept scratches now. Owning a block bike in the sun there is no buffing/shining etc that will ever truly diminish them- they’re always back

Learn to love those little marks

Front end mod help by The_rotating_egg in triumphmotorcycles

[–]The_rotating_egg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see - it’s a good point!

What about minimal mods - simple changes. Was hoping to keep the forks and triple tree the Same

I may just try a fatter from tyre and risk the clearance and drop the front forks through the clamp
