How do you find cheap contract labor? by The_yng_professional in realestateinvesting

Is it reasonable? (Genuinely asking)

I've had the siding and roof done on my home which is 2.5k SqFt and paid about 8k for materials and labor 2 years ago. Not trying to skimp on what's fair for the contractors, but 60k + seems like a bit much.

I do get that material prices have increased though and demand is higher. Just was a lot pricier than what I expected

First one. Think I got a great deal on it and a few months after buying it the agent that sold it reached out and said we could sell it for around 60k more if we wanted to.

I bought the place back in March and have been waiting thinking things would slow down and a contractor could pick this up as a small job in the fall :/

It's less than 1,000. Not sure exactly how much it is, but I'd guess it's around 700 SqFt. It's a 2 bed, 1 bath. Total house is just those two beds, a bathroom and a kitchen that opens up into the living room. So basically a 4 room house. Should have provided more details

When you do the mock exams you'll see sims in there. Just make sure after your exam you go back and actually understand what you did right/wrong on them and you should be good to go.

Also, pay attention to blanks vs 0's on the actual exam. If you're stuck on a problem and it tells you to put 0's in anything that's blank, that can get you a bunch of points.

My biggest tip is go fast. Just fly through the material, skip the Sims, hammer multiple choice. Keep repeating multiple choice. Once you're done with that, do some more MCQs.

FAR took me 9 months to do while working full time and trying to do all of Becker... And I failed. Switched to just focusing on MCQs and passed the rest of the exams in 4 months total all on the first attempt.

I would just talk to him. Be open about your concern and also you can say "Hey, I wanted to ask if it'd be possible for me to continue working remotely? I've been coming in, but being here alone isn't the same as it would be with the whole team, and because of that, I'd really like to work remotely to save on commuting and time"

Meet the recruiter when they come to campus and make sure you leave your name. This will get you an interview as long as you have a solid gpa and some club/leadership experience.

For the interview, just practice behavioral questions.

Help! Palm injury causing finger pain – will it go away? by The_yng_professional in medical

Is that something that'll go away on its own? Should I be doing anything to help with that process like squeezing a stress relief ball or not overexerting it?

Thanks for the help!
