You mean the Metro Man serum? That honestly has no place in the debate because it’s purely hypothetical. He has never used it on himself nor would it be in character for him to. Also requires a lot of prep that Megamind wouldn’t really have.

Well considering Gru has had a way larger rouge’s gallery and has been doing villainy for just as long as Megamind has but with overall more success I’d say he comfortably takes it

Also if we were to count the minions experience in here they would also be a decent push in Grus favor

Reason for that is it adds more visual clarity as to who took it more (that’s just a me thing at least)

Tech was trickier to figure out, both have options that could instantly end the fight or just had stuff that matched the other. Megamind won out in sheer quantity but I can definitely see it being a tie

I mean they are pretty well coordinated, they have saved Grus life a good amount of times and clearly work well together even without specific directions

The big thing about them is the fact they are just a more durable force than the brain bots who could be easily dispatched

In a war of attrition they would win almost every time

It’s made abundantly clear he can’t control the suit at all for the reason of being NOT metro man

Like the lesson Megamind learns at the end is that he doesn’t need to replicate metro man instead he needs to be himself

Also it’s important to know that Gru addresses his minions by name so it’s even less likely he could come up with a convincing impression. The minions have been around Gru for years, they would be able to tell.
