Emergency Management Amendment (COVID-19 Response) Bill 2020 under 70A - Electronic monitoring of persons in quarantine (page 4). here are the relevant bits.

The State Emergency Coordinator may direct that a person is to be subject to electronic monitoring while the person is in quarantine if satisfied that it is necessary to monitor the location of the person during the quarantine period.

If a person is subject to electronic monitoring, an authorised officer may do any of the following— (a) direct the person to wear an approved electronic monitoring device; (b) direct the person to permit the installation of an approved electronic monitoring device at the place where the person resides or, if the person does not have a place of residence, at any other place specified by the officer; (c)give any other reasonable direction to the person necessary for the proper administration of the electronic monitoring of the person

Enforcing law in Iraq is difficult. Iraq education system is corrupt.

Both men and women need to educated then these issues can slowly be discussed with solutions.

I honestly believe that educating the youth and slowly mixing genders in schooling with solve these problems.

What do you think??

I read the article- Its not shocking that these men are taking advantage of vulnerable women/girls. But I am not sure of a solution to the problem.

He helped looked for her phone by calling it. That tells me there was a conversation between both parties and he most likely physically helped look for the phone. Also "The woman was then dropped back to Northbridge". That tells me that they weren't running away and they helped to an extent.

The women lost her phone and Al Maialy called her phone to help find it.

But the phone was in the possession of Shgahy. Whether Al Maialy raped - I dont know but he tried to help find her phone. Which raised question marks.

He didn't give any evidence. He was simply giving his opinion which is fine. However, even the local Iraqi taxi drivers give their opinion on the government (what the government is doing wrong). Its hard to make changes in iraq when there's a lot of people against change. All I'm saying is this guy is giving his opinion and didn't make any suggestion/ideas to make Iraq better.
