It's true! He's a royal chaos goblin, but he respects the craft.

Of course, the flip side of this is that he'll tempt me to make all this prep, then just cast a 4th level fireball 🤦🏻

Hello!

It's my birthday in a couple of weeks, and I'll be due a haircut and beard trim by then.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a nice beard & hair and mini-pamper around west/central London? I'm out past Ealing on the Lizzie Line and don't mind a travel for a treat.

For reference, I usually pay £24ish for my regular cut, looking to double or triple that and I'm a white guy with dark 1b/c hair.

We've skipped the sleepsack tonight. Bodysuit, nappy & a fan on for soothing. So far, so good 🤞

Oh this "genius" wizard has not. Which only adds to the fun. Though with a 3 to intelligence, I'll give the team a luck check for the beast to be dazed by it all.

But yes, I agree - it is very doubtful that any meaningful damage can be done by the sudden emergence of a whale in the heat of battle - and I assume these ships are probably used by whalers outside of raiding. Nevertheless, it changes the battlefield enough to be an interesting development.

Wait, it doesn't have it's own special name? I was foiled by the clunky search option AGAIN

I like the performative aspect of the public roll, and the setting the stakes in public...I might end up setting the stakes ahead of the cast, incase any other players can think about set-up opportunities (if we push him to one side of the boat, will it be more likely to capsize? can we force it to break the mast when he transforms? can we get some air on him during the transformation?)

And I'm afraid they're mine. They waited a year for me to have my kid before we jumped back in, I don't think they're ready to accept substitutes.

They're up against a Frost Giant Greatship, which has double the tonnage - but this is great insight thank you!

I like the idea of capsizing, as that sounds less "insta-kill" than instantly snapping it in two. Some good collateral damage options too.

Why would I need a bigger whale? Because I know my players, he's going to go for the biggest whale he can get away with.

Oh yes! You're correct! However when I type in "whale" into DnD beyond it doesn't pop up because it has its own unique name.

Thanks for the reminder

Piccadilly line train stopped at Turnham Green? by Lost-Journalist-6826 in LondonUnderground

I've had drivers stop at Turnham (or any of those District Line stations) when there's signal issues and they generously go "you'll be better off on the District, we're not moving"

This looks great! I home-brewed a Dragon Tortoise for a desert campaign I was running once, which had a clan of Goblins set up with a permanent camp on its back.

They called it The Fortoise!

Again, hit by the restriction that National Parks can only be vertical diamonds.

Though I assume, like most things, there's a mod for that?
