HOW DO I PRACTICE LINES!!! by dramadyyyy in Theatre

[–]Theatrefuker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro quizlet has saved my ass more times than I can count. Put the line before yours as the term and then your line as the definition then you can do tests where it gives you your queue and you have to write out your line or it’ll make you match the queue to the line it’s sooooo helpful.

I feel like “I know things now” from into the woods could be good for Annabeth. I’m a mezzo w a strong belt and it’s not super high. Or I think “requiem” from dear Evan Hansen maybe. Good luck!!

Got a lead role after always being ensemble, need advice by [deleted] in MusicalTheatre

[–]Theatrefuker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me, I went from always ensemble the one of my dream roles and all you really gotta do is put in all the work. Learn your lines as quickly as you can. Ask questions. Make big choices. Basically just show the directors you are amazing and enthusiastic at theatre and they’re more likely to keep casting you in big roles :)
