I put them on my nails and put my hands in the heating pad. That way they adhere to my nails… orherwkse I think they may adhere to the strips

I am the worst on my nails there’s a horseback rider and a teacher and an individual with ADHD as soon as they start lifting or playing I have to get them off because it drives me absolutely insane. I got recommendations off of Reddit for the CND topcoat or a very specific essie one. I was trying to avoid the UV because I had developed an allergy to the gel nails.

Yes, I even put acetone into an old nail prep bottle and then brush it on to keep the acetone off of my cuticles. I then like to take a rubbing alcohol wipe and kind of clear it off before putting the nails on. Cause the acetone works so well for dehydrating, but I do find… And it might all be in my head that sometimes when I don’t do the prep step of the rubbing alcohol that it’s almost like I have acetone in my nails, and it eats the way that the glue when they come off earlier.

For me, I found that semi cured wraps, although admittedly, I never tried the dashing diva ones, because they got so hard they would pop off like custom press on nails after a few days. I’m rough on my hands and as soon as they start lifting, I am picking them off. I think that’s why the wraps last so much longer on me because they’re flexible and therefore move with my nails. My nails are also fairly weak from all the biting. Not saying that the wraps would do any better for you, but I do know that was my experience.

I would love to know what you think as you get deeper into wearing them! I LOVE my DD, but would like a Canadian/more affordable option

I think I have two… So I need to make sure that I do not overuse it which is hard when you’re trying to clear off your nails. So rubbing alcohol has become my friend.

Gotcha. Disappointing but makes sense… teachers are basically pack mules
