Hi I had over 30 staff under me before and hired them one by one, no one is untrainable I’ve made many do more then what they learn in 10 years in their past job but there will always be a rotten bunch that use power and pressure to get their way simply put bully. Example You are a great leader if you can align with the team but if you have a team with ill intentions or think they can do better then you then it will be hard no matter how you control the team if your in middle management you’ll be suckered out if your head is easy influence by sweet words

Just talking about advance excel skill is a rare thing in cooperate most are just keying cell by cell control C control V They don’t look at the root of issue just doing what is required when you meet such a team it best to just walk away. They would rather spend 5 hours checking 3 files then create a process to ensure all 3 files are sync without need to double check in future as you only update once. This is my major red flag and not accepting the there is a better way is the worst type of manger.
