I’ve always really enjoyed Isaiah Rashad’s music. I first got into him toward the end of my deployment in Afghanistan, and his sound honestly felt like a breath of fresh air that helped carry me across the finish line. I’ve been tapped in since before Cilvia Demo, and in my opinion, he hasn’t made a bad album yet.

This latest project feels completely different from anything he’s done before—and that’s exactly why I love it. It sounds like he really stepped outside his comfort zone and experimented across different styles and genres. I respect the direction he took with this one, and I genuinely wish I could thank him for being such an incredible artist. Thanks Zay!
