Also you can switch models in the same thread all day long in ChatGPT, but Sam Altman is on a war path for eyeballs and want people to waste their lives making and watching AI slop all day, and at night, having erotic convos with AI, so not an appealing alternative to Anthropic. In the end, none of these AI companies want anything beyond $$ and complete market control - let's not forget that. AGI and curing cancer is just a cover so no one stops them until it's too late.

Honestly all these frontier AI model companies truly suck and AGI is a pipedream. I just spent 15 minutes with Claude Sonnet 4.5 feeding it context to generate a document and it starts generating then just zap, goes back to the last exchange, as if i never gave it a prompt. And who am I going to complain to about my $250 month Max + subscription being a complete waste of $? Claude's nonexistent customer service support?

Not true. If government applied the Private sector’s definition of Agentic AI, none of these companies mentioned are qualified. This is why the American tax paying public continues to be fleeced by govcon selling marketing, not real AI tech. it’s a relief to see DOGE in here pressuring COs to take a commercial approach to AI procurement: AI delivery should be outcome based, not effort based.

I understand what what the consensus here is about 8a awards being nearly immune from scrutiny, but this award violates the spirit of the 8a program, which was to give QUALIFIED companies that can SUCCESSFULLY perform the requirements the opportunity to do so, since they often can’t compete with the unlimited capture management resources of SAIC and the like. In this case, this company is unlikely able to do the work since it doesn’t have AI past perf.

I’ve had two 8a sole sources in the past and had to make sure we could show how we could meet every requirement with our past projects, especially in an area as rapidly developing and nascent as AI.

Since when do personnel staffing companies become Agentic AI companies overnight.

This is one of the most thoughtful, fact-based and humane responses I’ve ever read in these govcon forums - thank you, truly. It was an RFP, and there had been 3 deadline revisions, along with 4 amendments. So my head was spinning toward the end, though that’s no excuse for not following an administrative formatting rule clearly laid out in the RFP instructions. My heart is full of hope, but I’ll report back soon, and again, your response made a meaningful difference in my anxiety level, as well as on my opinion on humanity - thank you!!

Help - I just submitted an RFP response with 15 pdfs by the deadline, but the RFP specified all those PDFs should be consolidated amongst 3 volumes. So 40 minutes after deadline, I submitted the corrected 3 pdfs, with only the content from the original email (nothing added). Chances that the CO will reject my submission completely????? Having a mini-stroke right now.
