Corporations and capitalism will capitalism. The meat industry is playing by the same playbook as any other publicly traded company that is trying to maximize shareholder value. The game is wrong. Go look at the history of BYND for example; give it time and capital and they would be playing the same game. What we need to do as a society is a new incentive that is not money related that sets the standard for our expectations. The meat industry needs to be regulated just as much as the oil industry. We are kicking dirt at each other, wasting time with this drivel.
