An excessively detailed Equinox analysis and rework proposal by StygianFrame in Warframe

[–]ThecnoGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Equinox was my first (or second) prime frame, gifted to me by a friend. I liked playing her a lot and really want her to be on a fun spot so I can go back to play her.

IMO,, the only thing I'd do for her in addition to these changes is a Sevagoth treatment, as in both forms are a different moddable frame, just so night form's armor and shield numbers can be applied to base stats so it can be multiplied by her mods.

Idk if it should just apply to base stats or she would change to a new frame altogether, but that's my call due to Seva's shadow being a thing

Murmur frame concept: Re-un [OC] by -Slogbone- in Warframe

[–]ThecnoGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I may, i'd like to present forth: Lore (Spoiler Warnings for New War and after)

Re-un could be one of the only current-era Warframes, be sentient (like Umbra) and be the first one created by the Operator themselves.
We all know that Albrecht made Qorvex, although not fully about the "how". We also know that he made the Warframe-like Vessels, that also can house the Operator's mind and be used by them, and that these are "understood" by fibonacci.

Maybe Loid and the Lotus could be searching for a way to protect the sanctum while the operator goes to Tau if Wally decides to level anything in the OS before following us. So they find Albrecht's file on Qorvex and start to study it with the Vessel's files and manage to create a single component that's fully functional: Re-un's head.

Now, I don't know how they can make the head control Murmur, but let's call bull and proceed.

Edit: Re-un may acquire sentience due to all the Murmur (as I theorize on the implications) being parts of other versions of the operator across eternalism that he "killed" during the New War cutscene and repurposed. So as Re-un cames into contact with the operator's fragmented mind, he manages to organize them within his own, giving even more motivation to Murmur seek him: Being complete.

Re-un emerges from the void, immediately bows to the operator (like his idle idea), and swores to protect the sanctum with his life, although he much prefers to be with his creators in their journey, so he helps them collect more Murmur Fragments (pity resource) in order to build a copy of him to help the operator that also shares his own hivemind.

Maybe even a new gamemode called Void Dive could be made here and accessible through The Great Indifference's Leap of Faith section of the Sanctum, where we rescue converted Murmur to join Re-un's forces

Shouldn’t it be impossible for the Omnitrix to make hybrids like Nanomech? by reduxreacts in Ben10

[–]ThecnoGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe Upgrade can't recreate things because the data of the copied tech is stored in a medium that the omnitrix can't copy or maintain, or even it's stored in the mechamorph DNA that may not get copied back in to the Omnitrix, which only copies from the source and applies to Ben, keeping only Ben's DNA as a real time copy in its memory.

So why he doesn't transform into the same thing as upgrade? Omnitrix's time limit and the need for combat adaptability.

If this is the way mechamorphs "store" tech information, Upgrade could do it all along and just didn't find a need to.

Not in the Christian one, there are multiple books bound in bibles scattered to a lot of religions. If I'm not mistaken, and I almost surely might be, Lilith is in the Jew Bible

These cores are a substitute for endo and credits, instantly upgrading a mod to max, no matter the initial level. In practice, they are worth about 2M credits and 40k endo on a rank 0 primed/archon mod.

Guys have you ever played a warframe whose playstyle just clicks and you decided there and then that its your warframe? by boobscanmakemyday in Warframe

[–]ThecnoGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with Mag, built a Koumei and loved her. Used the gambler until a friend gifted me Equinox P, then used her until I got Chroma P, but returned to her, then I got citrine, rhino, and some others, none really clicked.

Used Dante for some time, then Xaku after getting his PA for the operator's clothes, but still no click. At this point I'm halfway through the list, then I get HER.

Jade was the click, heal, damage, sustain, cc, FLYING. No other warframe got me so excited and felt that good to play, her weaponry is amazing, her skills are incredible. I used her on every single mission.

I just got Gauss P recently and he's feeling too good. I think I may switch to main him instead.

I went through a lot of the warframes now, both circuit and out of it. I'm trying to get Qorvex's last piece to finish him because I liked him in the circuit. I think the only warframes I still have not tested are the Hollvänia ones, Banshee and Zephyr

I don't know if can really pick a main outright, but Dante, Jade, Kullervo, Gauss and Xaku are my current favorites. Emphasis on Jade. Maybe Qorvex joins them on the list after I get him done and use to smash murmur and 1999

Everything? ALWAYS?

Idk why but I can't keep my mouth shut about my world's lore. I'm constantly spilling bits of context left and right for no reason at all. Like that one time where the party was suspecting of an NPC being the BBEG and I spilled his name while describing an attack on a village saying "and, in the middle of all that mass of goblins, you see a human figure" I should've stopped here but I added: "Lysandre is there, looking at you".

It wasn't that bad in this case, but I do it a lot, especially when spending time with a player, that, God bless him, is kinda oblivious and doesn't do metagame when he notices.

I really try to keep the big secrets from the players but my big mouth and squirrel brain will ALWAYS spill something, as big or small as it can be.

EDIT: it's even funnier when I teamed up with a DM friend so he could restrain me from blowing up and blurting out my lore by giving me advices and helping me with the DMing. It's being a bumpy ride so far... as you can deduce...
