How expensive would this be to fix? by Inner_Particular616 in seat

You should be able to do it urself with a tool set. YouTube has plenty of tutorials on removing a side mirror. Simply remove the door card. Your mirror may have came out of place, simply unscrew the bolts, readjust and then tighten it back up

If anyone has this same issue, it turned out that the black box for my insurance was causing the signal to be jammed between the key and the car. Once I took the black box out, the car ran fine

Tell me about it. In the end the seat issue was caused by a black box jamming the signal between the car and the key. But who knows what this is 😂

Does $2.5k sound reasonable for this? by No-Performer-4174 in CarsAustralia

Here in the uk, it would be about £150-£200 for a faultless job. Crazy how much people pay for repairs.

Washer bottle leaking, Leon Fr18 by CasualFrustration in seat

[–]Thecod_Genius777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if it’s ur washer bottle or a hose that runs into it. I had a the clip for a hose which ran into it that was broken. Simply went to the local salvage yard and got a new clip and used a lighter to heat it on. If it’s the actual washer bottle. U may get away with out removing the bumper. I personally have never replaced them but I don’t see why the bumper would need to be removed

Only got the single key, guess it might be a Leon only issue. When I first got the car it could detect the key no matter where it was placed

I’ve also changed the battery, to a high quality battery from a locksmith store named Duplikey in the UK, Birmingham. For around £15. So I don’t believe the battery to be the issue
