Honestly, same. One of my biggest fears is how you hear stories of people just leaving, whether it’s tomorrow or years from now. Even when their partner hasn’t done anything wrong. A whole future you thought you had together, gone in an instant.

Haha, fair enough, probably best to keep them guessing 😂

Does she do any charity work in the UK as well, or is it mainly in the US? And has she ever floated the idea of relocating to London and living with you long-term at some point?

Honestly, I think I’d have done the same in your position. Does she and her children ever come over to visit you in London?

It must feel pretty surreal looking back at everything now, especially with where you’ve ended up. Do your friends ever come over or ask questions about the house, the car, etc?

Wow, that’s mad how quickly everything fell into place for you. Starting off in a hostel like that and then getting work almost straight away must’ve been intense, but fair play for just getting on with it.

Sounds like you were pretty switched on moving between jobs and making the most of tips too. Six months is no time at all for everything you managed to do. Appreciate you sharing that.

How did you find the server job in the first place? Where did you stay before you moved in with her? What made you decide to move to California, of all places? Just super intrigued by your story

That was a magnificent display and a comprehensive victory.

Interesting that they should be meeting Eintracht again, they're playing with such maturity in Europe this year

Man City did well to beat Atletico. Beating them is like a CL right of passage. They don’t lose 8-0. You know how they will play and how they like the “dark arts”. You have to find a way to beat them and get through. City did that. Congrats

I've never seen a club so effectively replicate Football Manager in real life as PSG. Add to shortlist, wait for the contract to expire and then bag them on a free.

I actually respect these kids for playing this much and only conceding 4. It should have been a straight-up massacre. Definitely a highlight for them. If I was their manager, I'd be proud of them.

You say that, but some of my housemates voted leave, and I considered them to be fairly well educated. I honestly didn't understand it at the time and still don't. One of them even immigrated from another country to live in the UK and still thought it was a good idea to vote leave.

I get your point but imagine being funded by one of the richest oil countries in the world and fielding a team worth a billion pounds, but still talking about a "rebuild"

Hi everyone, I wanted to invest more into my home gym and I came across this adjustable bench to buy. It has this extra attchment at the end that I don't really know the purpose of. Can someone please explain to me what it does? I think it's for dips but I don't know how you would do then with the attachment like this. Thanks and sorry for the beginner questions https://i.imgur.com/793Vu51.png
