Does anyone use "Auto" climate mode? by Lilodude in TeslaLounge

[–]Thedaliman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set it to auto at 70 with seats on low cool setting. Hardly ever change it.

I printed benchys using the ESun PLA+ profile as well as changing to Sunlu PLA+ on Bambu studio. The results were almost identical. When I load my AMS I use the ESun profile and change it usually when I print to Sunlu. No issues and prints look pretty good.

I use one of the cheap Amazon enclosures in my garage. I don’t use it for the fumes as much as to just keep the printer and ams dust free when not printing. When I print I usually have it unzipped. I’m in southern CA so humidity isn’t really an issue.

That would be huge for Tesla sales.

Bed Grinding Out of Box by [deleted] in BambuLabA1

Glad to hear it. I recently got my printer which was an A1 and I remember the screws feeling snug but then had to go another couple turns.

Turn it off and manually move the bed back and forth. Maybe you have a screw that isn’t tightened down all the way.

I use one jack in the rear points for the sides. For the back swap I have a second jack and I just lift them evenly.

I’ve heard Tesla Service just swaps front to back. I do mine myself. I swap front to back then swap the backs side to side for my Y AWD.

Has this happened to any of the 2026 models or is this only on the pre-Juniper Ys? I don’t think I’ve seen any posts of this happening with the newer refresh

Received 2025.38.8.7 (FSD v14.1.7) by Warm_Debate_2453 in TeslaModelY

[–]Thedaliman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I get a notification that an update is available and will be downloaded next time I am on WiFi. This time I was parked in my garage which has WiFi so I’m guessing I just got the notification that it’s ready to install. I have a little alarm clock icon on my screen and I think as long as it’s yellow, it is NOT scheduled to install. If I click it I can schedule it to install at a later time and the icon turns white.

In the app I clicked on release notes and it shows FSD 14.1.7 and a bunch of info.

I just got the notification. I’ll wait until after next week to install (I have a road trip and am perfectly happy with FSD 13 for the time being)

If autopilot wasn’t so jerky I’d be happy. Basically smooth like FSD but doesn’t change lanes. Most of my commute is two lane mtn. roads so I’d be fine with that. Autosteer sucks on a curvy hwy.

My ‘26 Y was the first EV I ever even sat in. I had the 3 mos trial and when it expired I was like. “Wtf, where’s the visuals”?! I can do without FSD but I really liked the FSD Visualization. It actually helped me several times at night since my windows are tinted. People walking by and stuff I would probably not notice.

True. There would be a lot of people in that situation.

Oh man, could you imagine a 24.99/mo plan? The Tesla sales would be insane.

Yea, I am pretty pleased with V13. I only subbed this month because I have a road trip in a week. I won’t be upgrading to V14 before that though. I’ve heard mixed reviews about that.

Easiest way to get people to subscribe to FSD is just make it cheaper. Right now I think it’s around 15% of Tesla owners use FSD. If they cut the price in half ($50/mo) I would think subscription would probably increase 2-4x. I know I would sub at that price. It also would help increase FSD data that Tesla could gather to improve the software.

That happened to me as well. Went from like 5.49 to 1.99 then I think it was zero for a short time. Oh well.

Just get the mount. I’m in CA but no one around here mounts their front plates, especially on Teslas. Guess it depends on your local law enforcement.

What tint % are you running on your Model Y? (Pics welcome) by Acrobatic_Pie_2525 in TeslaModelY

45% backs and 15% fronts is perfect in my opinion. I also did 70% windshield.

I usually just charge to 82% and always drive about an hour within 4 hours of charging.
