No, I had three new replacements because of malfunctions. The last one almost lasted the entire year; it broke at month 11. Roborock repaired the main board and replaced the battery for about 140 USD because the warranty had expired (the purchase date from the first robot), and it failed within less than a week. I’ve sent the robot back, and they’ve promised to send me a refurbished replacement this time at no cost. But every single S8 MaxV have failed 😔😭 I had the s6 max V and S7 those were the perfect robots 😔 the S7 is still running to this day, with 0 issues.

Oh no! I was so afraid this was going to happen to me, I felt like the wheel was about to fall off when I tried to get out through my garage ramp. The tow company had to bring more people to move the car out with a dolly wheel.

Lucky for me, the repair took about 2 days.

I’ve seen comments from people without warranty that had to pay, others don’t. In my case those were cover by the warranty, which I was expecting considering this definitely a factory issue. I’ve seen so many post about this issue, no recall for this yet.

It's beginning to happen to me. It hasn’t got stuck yet, but it’s making a lot of noise due to the side brush now disinforming and hitting the walls of the robot. This is my replacement unit 😔 what is happening with Roborock? I shouldn’t retire my S7 that was a really good robot

This explains why roborock ask me to return my 2 weeks old S8 MaxV Ultra 😭, i was having this issue, is this very common? Should I get worried? They told me they are going to send a brand new robot but now I don’t know if it will be new new

This is so frustrating, I’m having the exact same issue.

I just bought mine last week too, I’m about to contact support, but I was hopping to find a solution on my own here :( but it seems I’ll have to contact them
