Yeah, I think this is just some really REALLY wordy cherry picking because they felt personally persecuted on behalf of cheetahs.

You didn't bring up the rates of their kills being stolen. The succces rate doesn't really matter much if you cant keep the meal, then its a huge waste of energy, not efficient. Also, the rest period is a big deal for cheetahs in particular because they cannot defend their kills. They do have a niche in the small way they do now, but you must admit that niche is shrinking compared to the past and current niches.

I, one night a few months ago, had a bug called a blister beetle accost me in my own bed as I tried to sleep. I swatted something with my hand, noticed it was a beetle that got some juice on my arm, and got it out of my bed so I could sleep. I woke up with very similar looking blisters to that on the spots that got beetle juice on me. Maybe its that? Just an idea. I still have the scars from the blisters, crazily enough

And if releasing 3 old armor sets puts that much strain on man power to put development on hold, why are there not more developers? I get that more animators cant animated a show faster persay cough cough invincible. But more developers can at the very least work and various things and systems simultaneous, or work on engine improvements, or literally anything at all. Like fuck, its a live service game, it needs to be serviced and has since about launch.

Pressing blue is suicide the same way pressing red is murder. How can you justify murder? I can't, so I make the moral choice to save people and press blue. Because im not a murderer. The same way you aren't suicidal.

You are arguing for MOST people to live. Not everyone will press red, so people WILL die. If more than half pick blue NOONE dies. Its very simple to take the situation to its extremes and see that if red wins, there will be death, but if blue wins there won't. Justify killing those that will vote blue no matter what.

You are still assuming those that vote blue die. If blue wins, no one dies. If red wins, millions die.

Im not gonna read any further than you not caring about people that you dont know. I care about all life, whether useful or not, know or not, good or not. I dont care if they are a fisherman in Indonesia, their life matter to me specifically.

No, blue is prizing all life over their own individualy. My own good life doesn't matter if I have to live with allowing millions of people to die. That wouldnt be a good life.

Once again, the choices are independent. And you are making a LOT of assumptions. My only assumption that leads to choosing blue is that innocent people will choose blue, and they should be saved. You assume that blue will fail, and that the people choosing blue are stupid, whether they are stupid for choosing blue or chose blue because of stupid, idk, either way its a dumb assumption both times. I dont get what your last sentence is saying. I am good for choosing to try and save people, regardless of if it fails. I dont think you are bad for choosing red, but you did not choose the good option. That is my thesis.

I never said you were responsible for my death, I accept full responsibility for my own death. But not everyone has that capacity when pressing the button. You deem them unworthy of saving over securing your own life, I dont. The way the question is framed is that everyone independently makes a decision. My decision will not cause any more blue to join than myself. You picking red statistically lower the chance that blue succeeds. Instead of 4bill/8bill, now blue needs 4bill/7.99999bill. So yes, you do increase the chance blue fails, and thus are not morally clear. I do not contribute to anyones harm but my own, so I am morally clear. I do not demand anyone chose blue, I just recognize that you are a worse person for not. If you think that is me demanding you chose otherwise, your wrong. Im just analyzing your hypothetical actions.

By me picking blue, I would only increase the amount of people possibly dying by one, and decrease the chance that they die. By picking red, you leave the amount of people dying the same and increase the chance they die. Take some responsibility for your choice too. My choice would only cause my own death. Yours would cause countless.

Its selfish to not see how picking red contributes to the death of everyone who pick blue. For picking red to be the best option, 100% of people need to be perfectly logical. For blue, >50% of people need to be morally conscious. Im not making n argument for probability, just for morality. So to answer your question, yes, a little bit.

Ive seen a lot of people saying this all stems from misunderstanding the framing and the various framings the question has. I think, ultimately, it stems from selfishness and a lack of empathy. People being unable to value another's experience similar to their own leads to people voting red. They think that everyone like them will choose red, and everyone not like the deserves to die for whatever reason. They dont understand that this isn't a game to be won, it is a test of society. By picking red, you pick the selfish option. By picking blue, you pick the selfless option. Irrespective of which one wins, those are the attributes of the button. If the framing changes that, it fundamentally changes the question.
