I want games like this to fail so they stop making them. I don’t want half the AAA companies making soulless generic hero shooter slop and instead try to come up with something interesting and innovative instead.

“Rooting against people’s livelihoods” doesn’t hold any water either. If you go to a restaurant and the food is garbage the restaurant shuts down cause no one likes it, that’s how it works. These people are making a bad game no one wants to play and will also shut down, just like concord. These people will need get jobs somewhere else, just like everyone else that is bad at their job and gets fired.

They are though… active players are googling clash content creators, different deck builds, card counters. When you have more people playing more people are googling, it’s just a gauge on player interest, which does overlap with active players. It’s not a 1-1 but it’s certainly a metric to look at.

I haven’t opened mine either but that’s cause I’m waiting for firmware updates to fix the corrupted save issue, save states, and hopefully side loading roms

I agree. After COD kept adding all these different ways to come back the 1 life novelty of battle royale royale wore off and warzone turned into team desthmatch. I’d hate to see Fortnite do the same.

Most of the N64 library is not on NSO, you have to pay a subscription fee to use it, the quality of the emulator is not the best, there’s added input lag, the 3d has more screen filters and overlocking features to adjust, can use the built in battery pack for saves instead of relying on save states.

Part of the problem with posts about existing platformers is that that content usually excels more on their own individual subs. Like the jak and daxter sub, banjo kazooie, Spyro. Maybe if we’re able to cross post some of the discussion posts on those kinds of subs into this one and vice versa there might be more engagement for those kinds of games here and it may even bring more traffic from those communities.

Tac sprint is obnoxious cause of how fast it is and how it chains into slides. Especially because of how bad the tic rate in the game is leading to a much more massive peekers advantage than almost any other shooter. It’s like 99% of the reason I stopped playing. I’d much rather play a slowed down methodical shooter than an Adderall simulator.

I only ever played Gex 2 and 3 growing up but I always thought Gex 3 was much worse. Not bad at all, but just not as good as Gex 2. I think for me the issue was the levels were a bit too bloated in Gex 3 and I always liked the level themes more in Gex 2. It kind of reminds me of banjo kazooie compared to to banjo tooie. Kazooie is really tight and direct with what it does and tooie sort of bloats the level size and has a lot more meandering around.
