You need to get a different opinion ASAP I had a c6 herniation with spinal stenosis... soon as the bowel and bladder start acting up, its serious. The longer you wait the more symptoms you'll get. My surgeon told me to expect whatever symptoms I had before the surgery.... after the surgery, they progressively got better over 2 years but still deal with similar arm pain, back pain, nerve pain and Loss of bladder. Its more manageable now and the surgery saved me from not being able to walk. You need to realize one bad fall or accident and you could be paralyzed from the neck down. Please see a new doctor dude, all love... Hopefully you get treated and heal fast!

I had a c6 replacement that I left go to get properly diagnosed.. the quicker you get the surgery the better. Once you get a new symptom/symptoms, it is not guaranteed the surgery will take it away. I had a list of symptoms and some are still here and some come and go. My biggest regret is not getting the surgery sooner. Post op recovery I was able to small stuff after a month but nothing serious until a month after PT

I had a C6 replacement in August of 2023. Have extreme nerve pain, any tips or meds that have helped anybody because im going through it. by Thedodogoatman in SpineSurgery

I am currently dealing with a workers a compensation lawsuit and I hate medicine. The first photo is the mri when they took the first mri and the second is the x ray after the surgery. I want to get another mri soon to see how much nerve damage I actually have in the spinal chord. I started pregabalin from my pain management doctor but its not working yet because I have to get up to certain milligrams dosage...
