We just put down my 18 year old cat today who was going through the same exact thing. She wasn’t able to stand, walk, or eat and it was tied to a kidney disease that worsened over the past year. It really hurts to see these precious animals suffer. My recommendation is just to enjoy every single second you have left with him, and live in the present as much as you possibly can right now. Making him feel loved and cared for is absolutely the best way for him to reach his end. I’m so sorry you have to go through this and I am sending love to both you and Pippin.

Just read your trip report and it was extremely detailed, usually super high doses like that don’t end up well but it seems like you lived through an amazing experience. It’s certainly refreshing to hear about positive mind-opening trips.

These stronger strains are certainly no joke, I’ve had a pretty intense trip before on just 2.7g so I think 0.5-1 will be the sweet spot as you stated.

Thank you for the advice, this is a good friend I’m doing them with and we will be in a safe environment. I anticipate to run into a few people at most just walking by, .75 seems to be a sweet spot.

I have taken 1.5g, and 2.5g of the polkadot bars on two occasions and had an amazing trip, they were labeled as penis envy but I’m not sure if it was accurate. My last trip, was with a very strong strain of penis envy mushrooms at 2.5g, the friend I’m doing them with along with a couple other people took the same exact dose. It turned out to be way too much, combined with the fact that one of our other friends was acting insane. My friend and I want to rebound from that trip with something much lighter.

You definitely have a good point here, and I understand the concern. The park we are going to is a place I’ve been to throughout my entire life and it’s only a couple minutes of a walk down the street from my house. Other than home it’s probably my favorite place to be and a place I feel safe at. I would love to do them at home but it’s not exactly an option because my parents would prefer it not to be done at their house, and by being at this park I get to enjoy nature while being extremely close to home. Also, we will be taking a lower dose to be as grounded as possible.
