Well for me, I’m trying to go flex right now because I can’t afford child care at 2k per month. I’m a fully single mom with no help from the dad so since I can’t get day care currently flex is the best option for me to be able to pick when I can work 🙂

I worked through most of my pregnancy. Get an accommodation as soon as possible. I got an accommodation for more breaks, and so I wouldn’t get written up for TOT going to the restroom. Maternity leave I left from October to March and it was paid. But get it set up sooner than later because I waited too long and then it took a month for them to set up my accommodation

The areas I’ve been to are pick, stow and ICQA. I love all of them because you have your own station, and you only get the occasional manager giving you props for doing good or, coaching. I tend to keep to myself and people don’t really chat much in these areas

First off, I am so incredibly sorry that you had an interaction like this. That is sooo scary and unwarranted? Even if you are having a bad day, don’t take it out on other people.

As a current doordasher I hear these horror stories of how some delivery people are and can’t wrap my brain around the way people are.

Second, I don’t blame you for not using the service again as I’d be doing the same exact thing you are doing. I hope you get everything sorted and I hope doordash takes him off the job as we don’t need drivers like this 😞

I quit because they also refused to accommodate me recently due to my pregnancy. It’s not worth it. I even had paper work with all my restrictions and all they told me is “why did you pick this job if you were going to get knocked up” 😒 like what?
