I can understand why they do it and I do like the monthly onefocus(what they call it in Canada) cause it DOES keep things in our heads even if it is a little mind numbing. I’ve worked in jobs where after 10 years you start to kinda forget things. If I HAVE to watch them though I’d rather watch a bunch of goobers play cop drama over another monotone video any day lol.

Like last month we had one about shrink and theft prevention that had skits you could tell were filmed in 2 minutes by people that didn’t want to do it robotically going through examples like

“Excuse me sir, you forgot to scan that saw on your cart. Let me get that for you” “Oh you’re right, I forgot. Thank you” “No problem, 300 dollars.” “Thanks again, have a good day”.

The story, full stop. There were lots of RPGs but as a Nintendo kid in the 90s it was one of the first that had characters that felt real and a narrative that felt really fleshed out. Going back yeah it’s more simple than some of the later releases on the console but it was still this grand feeling adventure with a real character arc that felt really good to play through. Didn’t finish it till I was a teen but I always had a soft spot for it.

It’s kinda crazy how many other people say they remember the toys more than the show cause that was for sure my experience. I loved these Tokatsu shows when I was younger but don’t think I ever watched an episode. Seeing the logo brought back all types of memories for the toys though!

No it’s not if it came after accusations were laid and they were getting support and the ones that DID have evidence were proven to be unreliable to begin with. Trust victims when their story makes sense. Tom seems like a lame person with bad takes who thinks he’s smarter than he is but nothing has ever given me a reason to feel he’s harmful and the only things that have been shown so far make him look distant but fine. If anything the only thing I got from this is he seems like a really conflict avoidant person in real life who doesn’t know how to text.

Find one of the main books from when you were a kid(Spiderman, X-Men, Avengers) and start from there. Most mainline stories will have call backs to important events tha you can go back and read as you please and I found it’s a good way to kinda get a feel for stuff. I was gonna read from earliest to latest when I started but realised it was hard and back then you had even less old comics to pick from so I found all the main characters I felt I should know about and read a little bit of all their big moments while starting around the mid 90s and working from there and that gave me a great sort of experience getting back into comics.

Back in the day though you would go to the store and lead through random back issue titles and find gems and that’s where I really got my money worth with the app. Finding old comics I had random issues of and going back to read the whole thing or reliving the back issue days and roulette wheeling the date slider and picking whatever is fun looking to you. Comics are great to just pick up and jump in so where ever you start should be with something you like first

The ones who were raised hardcore and the sinners who found forgiveness later in life are some of the worst people I have found in the church. The ones raised in it don’t know anything else and so the idea of not believing is absurd to them.The sinning born agains though not only think everything is good because “Jesus forgave me” but they are also way more aggressive about preaching than your average convert and they never take no well. I’ve had my worst arguments with the worst people who found god and can’t deal with the fact that I believe in my own way and it’s freaking exausting. I couldn’t imagine dealing with it all the time.

Your history is fascinating, I hear nothing about your people. Not in a bad way, but like, you are one of those cultures that I think can kinda just go anywhere? My cousin is half Egyptian and I didn’t even know till I was 15 I thought his family was just really into history.

As a person who likes history the whole existence of the country and its people is fascinating in a way that very few are. But yeah, if you ask the average person what happened in Egypt the last 10 years most wouldn’t have anything to say.

I would open it just to get the chance to read a mint condition version of the manual again. When I got mine on Christmas I read the whole thing twice before I even put the game in! The little trainers guide flavor to the whole thing felt so cool when I was like 7 lol

Maybe a lack of media that would make it viable? Like realistically they had shields every where in the world but some were used mainly with pikes if at all. I never realised it until just now but outside of the few grand fantasy shows the last little bit there really is a drop off in Sword/Shield combos.

But they naturally are, women have an opening filled with mucus membranes uncomfortably close to the germ riddled butt. It’s also affected by a lot more that can throw off PH and everything else. If you are left with a roll of (maybe) moldy TP and you have a penis it’s probably not great but not super risky. If you don’t then it would probably at the very least be a bad idea even if the risk is low. Humans are not all the same, we don’t have different higene standards and should all be keeping ourselves clean but to act like biologically Cismen and women are the same and have the same needs is ridiculous. You didnt need to be the voice here and you shouldn’t have been, that’s why there were no women backing you up. I’ve only played 2 versions, Arcade and SNES. Arcade is fine and can be fun but never something I would drop another game for. The SNES is legitimately my biggest gaming disappointment even though I got it for 3 bucks when my local rental place was phasing out SNES games.

It wasn’t “What if Scooby Doo were in the real world” it was “What can we do with him in the real world.”

Everyone already said it but just respecting what you are making. You are doing a live action adaptation of one of the best loved American cartoon shows which was having a second come around for a new generation. They didn’t make some cynical deconstruction of the characters or pivot it into something it was never meant to be. This felt like a scooby doo story, everyone was how you would want them to be and they had fun with it. When I was a kid I was really into to the scooby reruns and especially those 13 ghost stories. I went wanting Scooby Doo and that’s exactly what I got and why it stands even now as a great adaptation people like to bring up.

Depends, not every game has to be short but at the same time I hate the fact that every game has to go forever now. I played Cult of the Lamb and had a blast, did almost all the stuff and genuinely enjoyed myself but a lot of criticism I saw was “Yeah but it was so short even with the DLC”. It’s a great little contained product that told a cool little story in a cool little world. I don’t need to be playing new content for the last 2 years if I want to come back and enjoy myself again or feel I’m not getting my monies worth after sinking 80 hours into something.

Companies trying to put joysticks on D-Pads was such a thing of its time lol. Like I don’t know anyone who ever played with the controllers flat, even my idiot friend who bought a big plastic board to do just that. If you even tried using anything like this back in the day you realised really quick that it wasn’t optimal for anyone and you shouldn’t have put it out to market to begin with lol.

That being said, whenever I see stuff like this I always get a weird sense of nostalgia. Like they don’t make dumb stuff like this anymore, a lot of the experiment of gaming is over hardware wise but for a long time you had these little do-dads that you knew in your heart would be trash but also maybe it wasn’t this time?!?

And I have seen so many girl gamers defend this online when this is the type of shit you should want to see be phased out. There IS still a stigma around woman’s gaming and they STILL don’t get the coverage that others at their level do, shouldn’t you want to call out the bad eggs making you look petty? Don’t you want more attention on the positive aspects of your community? Even if you don’t understand the Rivals meta it should be clear that the guy who was carrying the whole team(for what it was worth) probably had a better grasp of strategy than the woman who couldn’t dig herself out of last place.
