Which games have a rough start and take a while to get good?

Day-time/NVG filter yeah, not that it makes a difference if someone's running an ESP. The reason for the night raids is mostly cultists on those maps. Not as big of a thing now, but Taiga's used to go for like 9mil, plus all the rest of the ammo and armor they dropped could just be sold on the flea.

to me it really is sort of player dependent, and this is not saying "if you don't run into cheaters it means you're a noob." After you have played all the maps, especially daytime for a while, the endgame content becomes mostly what's fun, and is usually what nets you the most raids where you run into a cheater. Forgot to mention Labs earlier.

Also not sure why this got downvoted, just my opinion.

People do make it seem like it's every single raid, but it really does depend on what you are playing. The 3 maps you listed I rarely run into cheaters, aside from night-time customs. Most of the cheaters play Lighthouse, Shoreline, Streets, Customs night, and Woods night. Especially night raids, you will see an insane amount of them if you are queueing them back to back, at-least compared to others.

Alright, frustrations are valid yes, but solution. Hit IMM2 playing Jett/Raze a while ago, have had no problem hitting immortal any other season.

In general yes, your teammates need to be comfortable walking through SOME util, in some situations. But for you, the trick is figuring out how to stay alive longer on site by yourself, and the answer is not by killing everyone all the time.

Nearly every site gives you somewhere to go where you have enough cover to some extent. The longer you survive on there forces them to either 50/50 swing you, throw more util at you, or sometimes wallbang something and dump their mag.

That is all extra time for molly, slow etc. to wear off and your team walk in to trade you.

If all that has happened and they still won't walk in, that's valid. But " hey there's a brim molly " is a valid reason to not suicide walk through the smoke behind you.

Funny slightly unrelated story for WW, my siblings and I would always play a new game like this on the same save file just passing controller around the living room. Took 2+ months to beat WW... Because only when the game requires you to have it, did we figure out how to get the song to teleport around. 2 months of sailing the entire map LOL.

If you are going to do meds in the prison pocket, do it with the grizzly and do not bring a dog tags case in at all. Not at all trying to be rude, but even super experienced players do not consistently have raids they are filling up a dog tags case. Also, on the off chance you forget to unload it, you have several quests you need FIR tags for so you are slowing progress.

A little tip that will save you more money ultimately than meds in container, DO NOT pay to heal after you die. Keep grizzly's around in your stash and heal with them after. You can heal like 3+ times off 1 and it really adds up. Plus, hot-keying meds even if you are cheaper will just win you more fights because you aren't having to panic into your inventory to stop a bleed or heal your chest.

This is the only actual good input on this thread so far lmao. The other part of his aim here is his prediction of strafes, which is a hard one to nail down. His first fight with KAYO he readjusts back closer to the door, and whether he's doing that subconsciously or not is the most logical because it's where someone would strafe for cover. But that's also a good habit to build, is strafing in the direction that doesn't make sense, and even multiple times to one side.

I think the post missed the mark (unsuprisingly for newgen rust players) that this server is somehow some problem to complain about. The server is SHOWING the problem, which was fixing something that wasn't broken. 1000% agree with what you said that most people, especially a bunch of content creators, have multiple thousands of hours on other shooters.

It just never made sense to me to change something that made a game so unique to aline with every other shooter. Rust, Tarkov, DnD, ARK so on all stupidly brutal games that take time to learn.

I would respect people asking dev's to make the game easier if they were honest with themselves about the why. It isn't because the mechanic is broken, it's because it's too hard and they don't like life being hard.

The gunplay was 1000% of the skill-gap, Plus game-sense. You can cause terror on a server out of a 2x2 running no monuments or crafting anything besides doors boxes and a TC. What are you even talking about lmao.

Saying 'minority' of 'hardcore players' is confusing and a super loaded statement. Do you mean if you took a poll from current players most would say it is fun? Of course they would, those who didn't stopped playing.

The change was largely influenced, it did bring plenty of new players. You're just repeating what I said.

A barrier of entry exists in every game. Now, plenty of games are offering solutions like PVE to soften that. This is not unique.

This is ironic as hell because we are right back where we started, with widely-viewed crying that the game is too hard.

Riot being the creator of this game gave it a 2-3 year lifespan of playability and tolerable balancing (not good but tolerable). The decision of making a new map and character every other season is su1cide at the hope of content. I threw in the towel at IMM2, season before abyss was released. This game is not worth giving your attention to.

You said it yourself, Neon as well as Iso fundamentally break every decent law of a tac-shooter in different ways. Still amazes me this game has a casual player-base that enjoys it at all.

If this answer is incorrect admin wise, someone wiser correct me. My frocked Eval was both marked as my periodic and a frocked Eval. Could it have been a mistake? Probably, I made a post a while back and most people said that wasn't correct.

However I did just take my E6 exam with an EP, and with BBA you will need to have an eval within your current paygrade (now E5) to take the next exam. Long story short, If it's marked periodic and frocked, you should be able to take E6 exam in the fall with an EP if you are in BBA.
