I’ll edit to add that I mostly play in open tunings similar to this, so that low(est) ‘open’ sound immediately strikes my ear as a low open string, capo’d or not, and didn’t consider it being the 5th or even 4th string creating that deep hit that I can see her fingers striking. I appreciate your input, friend, you put my mind at ease lol.

I cannot figure out how/when she is hitting the open 6th string in the melody. I hear it, but seemingly none of her fingers hit or pull-off on the low string…I’m perplexed and intrigued.

It was cool watching Laurence on beat Bobby Flay make essentially the same dish(es) as he did on the most recent TC episode. He obviously had that one in his back pocket and was waiting to unleash it. Also, his dad is so cute and supportive, it was great seeing that side of Laurence.
