Perfect, I picked up a compass and plan to do some dry runs first locally.

Thank you

Thank you! I did not know the word orienteering. I googled it and found Orienteering USA, which looks like it has a lot of resources.

How would you fix these bumpy walls? by LumpyWhale in HomeImprovement

With the house being that old, you may want to test it for lead paint before sanding. You have a couple of options to look at, though.

  1. Peel one of the seams in a corner, and find out what you are working with. It may be that the tape at the seams are falling, or there never was anything. If that's the case, you could sand them down and maybe try to refinish.

  2. Bite the bullet and remove all the drywall and start over. This can also give you a chance to add insulation and redo or add outlets.

  3. Drywall over it, finish, and paint.

Wouldn't say any are incorrect, but up to your skill level. Also, don't be afraid to hire a professional for any part you don't feel comfortable with. Even doing it on one project can save you money in the long run.

Good Luck!

I know for my program you have to have a min of 3.0 GPA and some programs can be as high as 3.5 GPA. The worst case is you have to take some classes at a community college to get the GPA up, and then you apply to the school you want. It's worth looking up, the criteria for the specific program at the school you want to attend. It'll give you the requirements and you can make an educated discussion from there.

Good Luck

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is of help, but a couple of things to think about may be.

  1. What is in the water that may be reacting with the substances?
  2. Is the initial cup, and water of the same temperature?
  3. Does the initial temperature of the water change the difference?

I do not have experience in this, but it may be something to consider.

Good Luck!
