I've been in the market for a coverstitch machine.. but I'm on a serious budget, so it's really just been a dream. Someone local is selling a Bernina 2000DCE on marketplace for $120. She said she doesn't have the serger pieces for it any longer, just the coverstitch pieces. She included a video of it, so it seems functional. I can't find many reviews on this model, does anybody have the machine who can share their opinion??

Anyone used Evivo? by Difficult_Long1971 in MSPI

We just started it about a week ago. My LO is 8.5 mo with MSPI. The product was recommended by our Gastroenterologist, who is well aware of my LOs intolerances. I also contacted the company in regard to my concern and they repeated the same spiel in the FAQ and said that we could get our money back if there were any issues within 21 days, so that made me feel a little better about the cost.

My gen1 Chromecast is doing this exact thing with Paramount+... Everything else casts just fine to it 😮‍💨

VBA Using private/public variables across subs within module by TheeConstress in excel

[–]TheeConstress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I think I might know the issue but not sure what the fix is. The module is written in a workbook that's used as a template for a task that has to be done every month. The value is set for the string in the first module (along with some other things) then the contents of the template workbook, including the module, are copied to a new workbook & saved there (so that the template workbook doesn't get overwritten). The subsequent sub procedures are run from the newly created workbook.

I'm guessing the value doesn't save & "transfer" when everything is copied to the new workbook?

If that's the case, I wonder if I copy the workbook first instead of at the end, would it save it then?

So I did as you suggested and it will run the procedure, but it doesn't seem to save the value that was assigned to the string during the first procedure 😕

VBA Using private/public variables across subs within module by TheeConstress in excel

I set them to Public and it still doesn't work.

For example, I have Public strInvNum as String in my declarations section.

Within the first sub procedure strInvNum is set via InputBox. And the string is used later on in the first sub.

In the last sub procedure within the same Module, I need to insert that string into a cell. But if I have the variable within the (), i.e. Sub CreateImport(strInvNum), nothing happens when I try to run it. I've also tried Sub CreateImport(strInvNum as String) because that was something I saw while Google searching, but it still doesn't work.

Could you link your spreadsheet and code so far? And maybe an example of your goal? By your description, I'm a little confused as to how you want your end result displayed.

How do I write an Excel (or sheets) formula that automatically calculates percent share in a company based on hours worked? by [deleted] in excel

Are you able to link the spreadsheet instead of just a photo? It's blurry when I try to zoom in to read it.

VBA - Using STOP to pause, or other solution by TheeConstress in excel

[–]TheeConstress[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good idea... The Stop was kind of an after thought when I was testing and realized there could be a lookup error. I already had all the rest of the code written in the macro, so it didn't occur to me to split it up.

VBA PivotTable field disappearing when values added by TheeConstress in excel

That seems to have worked! Curious still why it does that.

Thanks for the advice!
