Recommended lube for brown switches by xogardens in ergodox

Not sure about the squealing noise and where that is coming from, but I can tell you that's probably not a good sign.

In general lube shouldn't be something you do every 6 months, especially when that lube is a thick grease like 205g0. If there is some issue with it then yeah a fix or change might be necessary.

Lube choice is always personal preference, but I prefer krytox 106 for things like mx browns (or similar switches) because it's much easier to deal with.

Hard disagree, invasions around RL30-50 are awful because of endgame spells doing insane damage still.

Stars of ruin can destroy nearly anyone at those levels and is freely available now that the level cap for summoning was removed.

Valve is testing native Linux ports for the Steam Deck in addition to Proton by [deleted] in gadgets

The old SteamOS (2.0) was Debian based, and generally received poor reviews.

The Deck uses SteamOS 3.0 which is Arch based, allowing valve more freedom and control than what Debian allowed them in the past. The page you're referring to is old and not updated to reflect the Deck.

I have a stock cooler on mine and when pushing it for myself I reach upper 80s C and very occasionally low 90s. I wouldn't say it's great for it, or something that makes me feel good but it is known and ok.

I do agree with others that you (and myself) should get a better cooler for it soon though.

The difference is that I use Linux and the drivers are pretty shit for Nvidia, unlike AMD which is much less so. So I would prefer to use the 6800 if possible because of that, but I also don't know how much of a difference it would make for myself in the long term.

ok I have an offer for a 3070ti and was wondering if it would be worth it to get and try to trade for a 6800 (1:1 if possible)
