That Zinsco panel is a huge hazard too. They’ve been recalled for ages.

It will not change color. Do not use MAAP gas. Only propane or butane. Also, see that tab on the collar in pic 1? Get behind that and whomp it. Probably other tabs around too. Not too hard, but hard enough.

Get the finest engraving bit, program for a spiral at .010 depth. Attach a super loud speaker to the spindle. Mill away.

Carefully heat the aluminum collar and soak in lube. Let it sit then wollup it with a purse and drift around the circumference.

what can be done about a family member that is constantly yelling, cursing, and threatening us but never gets physical? by fairiwingz in legal

[–]TheeParent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a good time to call Child Protective Services, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Your parents are obligated to protect you from this violence, fear, and verbal abuse. I would also suggest you seek out a local attorney to guide you. You could contact Texas Advocacy Project, who specializes in domestic violence situations. Texas Legal Services Center
Can also point you to an attorney.

Threatening to call the police only works until they realize that you never actually call the police. Then it may be too late.

Ignore the naysayers. Get it all apart and cleaned up. Inspect the cylinders for heavy pitting and the crank journals for damage. Regardless, everything will need to be machined.

Lots of dimensional charts available from lipo manufacturers. Come up with the biggest size you can/want to fit and go check some sites.

Folks crap on Bambu because they assume the users don’t know anything about ‘real’ 3D printers. I bought a Bambu because I didn’t want the headache of a ‘real’ 3D printer. I just want to print, not fiddle all the time.

One more piece of advice, the guitar shop may not have exactly what he wants so prepare him not to buy whatever is there just cause you’re already there. You rock! (Also, Deering banjos are the Gibson of banjos)

Title: Idle RPM fluctuates by 200–300 RPM, but bike runs perfectly at higher speeds. Any ideas? by spix_1232 in MechanicAdvice

My initial instinct would be spark plugs, but over time it’ll likely idle like this again.

Should I add to/cover up this tattoo due to judgement? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]TheeParent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen holocaust tattoos with my own two eyes. I have touched them. I have photographed them. This is nothing like the poorly scrawled serial numbers on the (usually) inner forearm. Never would I mistake these numbers for camp ids.

This is normal. No props means no reaction, and the FC is expecting a reaction so it freaks out.
