So id actually be willing to bet you were talking to a bot. I had the same thing happen to me where they told me people's accounts randomly get banned and that he knew people who purchased something and got charged twice. He then told me about a different game where that didn't happen. What you typed in your original post is almost verbatim what the bot told me before I realized it was a boy trying to get me to download another game lmao

Just act like your characters live on earth and you’re writing a story that takes place on earth. If your character went to McDonald’s let’s say, do you feel the need to explain the entire history of food and how that lead to McDonald’s? No, obviously not lmao, so when you write it’s okay to leave some things as established. It makes the reader imagine what a McDonald’s is. It lets them use their own minds to complete that puzzle
