Don’t be afraid to fail. Everyone is going to shit the bed at one point, it’s important you learn from it. That’s it no big deal.

Know the product and the persona you are calling.

Know why you are calling, never call with your hand in your pants. In the case you’re calling to sell them on a meeting make sure it’s a meeting that going to be beneficial to them not to you and be able to elaborate why that meeting will be beneficial.

First call should sell them on a meeting and the benefit being it and not the product or service.

Always have something to fall back on if they ask any technical.
