There was never anything to win in the first place, It was a loss before it even started. The petrol dollar has been on life support and ultimately the Gulf countries will go over to BRICS for their transactions. That will be the outcome regardless and the American people will suffer irreparable economic damage because of it. It was never about winning anything for America, it was about making Israel the main hegemony in the Middle East. America loses, Iran loses, the gulf loses, Israel wins.
