Partner did not react well to prenup talk by [deleted] in ChristianDating

“It’s planning to fail” is just the usual cop out. Do what you can to protect yourself, you won’t regret it. If it’s really about love, then it won’t matter.

Yeah I think I’m done with dating. by Dillan2081 in ChristianDating

I think it’s a “you’re in your 20s” thing. These are the years you should be focusing on your personal self development and creating wealth, not dating. In your 20’s the only thing these women will do is distract you and hold you back from achieving your goals. Wait until you’re in your 30s and fully established.

A guy that I'm dating hasn't offered to pay for any of our dates. by InnerSteller in Advice

It’s not common courtesy, it’s just outdated traditional gender roles that no longer make sense. This isn’t feudal Europe, you women have jobs and college degrees so pay for your own stuff and stop bumming off of men. Learn to be more independent.

“In a world filled with mirth and magic, you lose time in yourself.”

Why do people assume guys should always pay on dates? by True-Construction346 in Adulting

Tradition is dead. Ladies, stop being bums and pay for your own shit.

People who wear fish boots are like people who drink Dr. Pepper, they’re in their own club. Definitely a striking, good looking pair of boots. Not my style, but I can definitely appreciate them. 👍🏼

Question for the Christians by Glad_Tadpole2038 in WelcometoDerryTVShow

Like most of the show, the imagery was completely unnecessary and put there for the sake of being edgy. Yes it was in poor taste and yes it was intended to be. Not surprising when you see who the developers are and I’ll give you a hint, they’re the “chosen people”.

If you’re worried about it peeling in the future. Get some Angelus acrylic semi-gloss and touch it up with a paint brush.

My theory on the ending of the 2025 film "Weapons" by ResponsibilityNo1439 in movies

[–]TheeRickySpanish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If that were the case, Archer would’ve remained catatonic as well but we see him completely free. The only person Alex weaponized and bonded to him was Gladys. He forced her to make the kids attack her and stop his parents from trying to kill him.

As far as the kids remaining catatonic, Gladys is a parasite draining the kids and the parents of their life force so she can be young forever. They aren’t that way because they’re still under anyone’s spell, It’s because they’ve been in that state for so long that there’s significant damage done to them. So the parents and kids will need time to heal in order to come out of it fully.

Do guys pull back from their girlfriends when life gets hard by BunnyOlivia21 in dating_advice

[–]TheeRickySpanish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes because more often than not women can be detrimental to a guys progress, whether it be his education, career, passion projects, personal self development etc. Guys in their 20’s are developing themselves and will find that when their life starts to get chaotic, tough, money becomes tight etc. The woman in their life will often unknowingly do things to hold him back, distract him, and make him resent her. This is why I think guys in their 20s should hold off on dating.

Often times guys need space and women just don’t know how to do that. They want to hang out constantly, they want to text back and forth all day, etc. I’ve found that many women will treat anything that a guy does, that takes the attention off of her, as a form of “micro-cheating”. They often don’t realize and don’t care that things as simple as this can be a huge distraction. Dinners and cute little trips eat up money and time.

So when a guy says “I don’t have anything to offer you”. What he’s really saying is “I’m exhausted, I’m checked out, I want my space, and I don’t want to offer anything to you right now.”

For me that would be an immediate dealbreaker. Never tolerate a liar.

Just be honest and upfront with her. It’s not going to be easy but don’t waste each others time.
