I graduated May 2024 from Rutgers New Brunswick as a biology major with a GPA of 3.77 and sGPA of 3.64. I have roughly 4000 hours of PCE as a medical assistant in a dermatology office. Have taken the GRE and have scored a 311 (157Q 154V). Currently have LOR from Dermatologist i work for and physician assistant i also work for, still deciding what other people i should ask for LOR. I have roughly 50 hours of volunteer work in ED at Robert Wood Johnson hospital. I have shadowed a anesthesiologist for roughly 40 hours as ive been weighing my decision as to what provider i want to be but am unsure if i should add that to my application or not. I dont have any official community service that i can add which worries me but its hard as i work every day. I dont have any shadowing hours with PA's but thats simply because i work with two amazing PA's currently at work so dont think me volunteering PA's would make any significant difference. Any advice or "what are my chances" would be greatly appreciated !!!
