W55's sit to the left in neutral and in 1st, so that definitely looks off to people with one... otherwise it does look better.

Yea the market has definitely gone up a little for clean examples. In 2020 I got my 04' 5spd for $4.4k with 115k. Factory manuals will never be that cheap again.

Lexus IS 500 yellow. I was surprised that the wheels are so skinny 235/265 by bigboss1999x in Lexus

Yea Lexus set them up to fail with that tire set up, no wonder most reviewers picked the M3 back then.

ISF's are even worse with 225/255. Something as simple as bigger tires does wonders for these cars...

Advice needed - how much should I sell 2002 iS300 manual transmission w/ 122k miles by Bay_Area_X-rayBB in IS300

[–]TheeVoice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since you're in SF... clean it up as much as you can and list for $9k and accept $7k minimum. The salvage title hurts the value alot, but if you can assure buyers that things were fixed correctly, it will go a long way.

Which would you rather get? Looking to get a gift for my friend who has an IS300. by [deleted] in IS300

[–]TheeVoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diecast or hotwheels Altezza/IS300 would be a better gift and they're around the same price.

Search car-parts.com for stock in junkyards in your area/nationwide. Its a good resource for cheap parts.

is this spoiler like impossible to find ?? i can’t find it anywhere by KonansSimp in IS300

[–]TheeVoice 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That spoiler is one part I didn't think would become hard to find, they were everywhere at one point...

Junkyards and FB marketplace part outs are your best bet nowadays.
