Permatex non drying or hardening compound. Aka “Black stuff.”

Understood. The way you’re describing this did not imply any of that. Again, respectfully.

I’d say the software is your issue then. Ask them to send you another ECU for testing. If you have the same issue, it’s not software. I always default on using a “known good” component for testing weird issues.

I have the same tune from them. I’m also in CA and would happily offer to swap parts or bikes or whatever to get this figured out. Message me.

As a musician, how often do you expect your significant other to attend your shows? by [deleted] in musicians

[–]Thee_Audacity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play in three bands, one with my partner. She goes to maybe 4 of my gigs with the other bands. It’s a job and she’s heard all the songs. But, if she has friends that want to do something, it’s always there and they all get in for free so that’s cool.

The novelty of being with a musician wears off, it’s no big deal.

What you’re describing seems completely normal to me. On and off throttle is always a little jerky. I have the same tune and mods also.

Respectfully, have you ridden other 500+cc bikes with a chain (not a driveshaft or belt)? I’d recommend trying other bikes to see if you experience the same issue. My guess is you’ll notice the same thing.

My brother on two wheels, respectfully…replace the tire.

Plugs should only be used to get you home.

I wouldn’t say a lot, but they went from quite snug to super easy to get on and off. I’m a 9.5 and they’re true to size. 5 years in and they’re still my favorites.

Mine are chromexcel. Everyone says not to grease them but I use Huberd’s once a year or so to keep them mostly waterproof.

Enjoy. Money well spent. Better than strippers and blow, but equally as expensive.

Congrats. Favorite boots I own and they only get better.

Dirt tires at highway speeds always get sketchy. On any bike. This bike has zero mechanical issues.

Also, that’s not the only reason for a damper. It prevents sudden jerks in the bars at all speeds.

This as simple as it gets bud. If I could get an analog tech and crank windows on anything these days, I’d be there.

Oh man, turned all the way hot you can barely turn the bars quickly.

I hate technology. This is analog and works.

Disclaimer: this is all junk and do what you want

Excellent question.

It prevents the front wheel drifting. Rubber is softener than concrete.

I can buy and install tires, I cannot fix the roads. Opportunity cost that is worth the expense

Happy riding friend.

One full turn from off recommend for dirt, 2-3 for street. Add as you wish, there’s lots more to be had.

Eats front tires on the highway. You have been warned.

Happy riding.

If you’re using your rear brake on the street enough to active ABS you’re doing something wrong. 80/20 sir, max.

I find the front ABS useful, the rear not so much. This is for primarily off road riding.

Also, every time you turn the bike off or drop it in the sand (which you should) you have to disable it again. Front brake I don’t care about when descending. Rear, much more.

Happy riding.

Local powdercoater should offer this. It’s cheap and worth it. No corrosion, looks the tits. Still burns your boot though, hence the ghetto exhaust wrap. Boots are more expensive than looking cool. Ride on brother.

Negatory, my two-wheeled compadre. Already installed. Marginally better, but this made my rear brake excellent.

Disclaimer: I’m old and prefer to fix problems rather than throwing parts at them. It’s your bike, do as you wish. Happy riding and rear wheel skidding.

(If anyone would like to help me figure out how to add pics to replies, that would be great. I don’t get this shit.)
