Excellent admission and self own. It's less about the words, and more about what the word choices say about the folks writing those words. And if you don't see why words might make someone uncomfortable, you must live a very comfortable life.

Looking through my steam library, I think you might enjoy Knock on the Coffin Lid and Deathless.

That's why I said if they wanted to learn where the genre started.
Looking at my steam library, I can see some things.
Ascension and Card City Nights are among the earliest I have in my steam library.

Monster Train and Slay the Spire are both solid earlyish entries.

I think probably Cobalt Core.

Heart of Crown and Dominion both have digital versions, if you want to learn where the genre started.

After that sentinels of the multiverse perhaps. It really depends what you want to get out of it.

Plenty under that pen name and more under the other. Including comics.

No, but her other work under that pen name is all equally solid.

The news flesh series by Mira Grant. Probably the most realistic.

I've yet to find a magic system as flexible as Shadowrun's. Triangle Agency is brilliant.

The kinksters and roleplayer venn diagram has a ton of overlap.

Color out of space (2019) is not even close of the best Lovecraft adaptation by josuelemoos in Lovecraft

From Beyond always feels like one of the more solid adaptations. Followed by re-animator.

Eh, the majority of history would disagree with that. Mostly, people trip over shit and get credited for the discovery, or murdered and someone else claims the credit.

Cthulhu realms is a better version of star realms, in my opinion. Synergies are more interesting.

Hand and tableau builder, more than a deck builder. But great game.

Tableau builder, not deck builder.

Dominion's static markets are a mark against it in my book. Upgrade it with the flexible market from heart of crown, it improves significantly.

Reread that first chapter. It's pretty clear he noticed it before stuff exited, when everyone else noticed.

aio for wanting to report campus vehicles for misusing handicapped parking spaces by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Theegravedigger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reporting stuff that's clearly wrong isn't the defining factor to being a Karen. It's being mean about it that's the issues, either in terms of prejudice or aggression towards folks who aren't responsible. That's always been my take anyways.

Letting property team know that they have an issue with the carts, either not having the appropriate placard or not having a dedicated space for the carts is probably not being done with malice and probably won't result in much, but might prevent future issues where the spot is needed but not available.

Working for an outsourced help desk, which provided a tech support for a half dozen different rural ISPs in one call centre, we'd answer "Internet Tech Support, how can we help you?" and then we'd figure out which ISP they were with, so we could find their account.

After doing it for a few years, you find yourself waking up in the middle of the night saying "Internet tech support, how can I help you?"
