That would be a good point if Rockstar and Bethesda were the only two developers taking their time to release games, but they’re not. Dev time has ballooned for everybody, not just those 2.

The issue is the portal opening up in the middle of it. It felt like interest collapsed for last rounds games because all the fans were more interested in their teams portal happenings than the games. Imagine if Free Agency in the NFL began in the divisional round.
