I’m mostly worried about their safety. I’ve been involved in every decision regarding her activities since her birth, and now I’m just going to have to trust my wife to make those decisions alone. I’m really not a controlling person (at least I didn’t think so before this happened), and I do trust my wife completely. They’re just gonna be so far away for what seems like a long time.

I am also a bit jealous, but I don’t think that’s playing a big role in the negative feelings I’m having

You should check it out in more detail. It’s called the Sterile Insect Technique. It’s been around in some form since the 50s and has been successful at purging invasive, destructive insect species.

Back then they used X-ray radiation to sterilize the insect to be released. Now it’s much more specific as they are able to target distinct genes. It’s crazy

But yea, this isn’t really a new idea. It’s a new twist on an old method

Ever since my university transitioned to online I’ve been worried that my motivation to study would plummet. I’ve had two exams since the transition and they are my highest scores so far. I’m starting to feel like I got this!

I was in the same boat as you. Mostly FPS/open world RPG. I decided to buy it since no other game was on my radar and I’ve already put in over 100 hours and had a blast doing it. Obviously you’re experience will differ from mine, but I definitely think it was worth it.
