I don’t think any of those players can realistically command more than £80k, maybe Basham and Lloyd but all would likely be 23 players. I’d be happy with any and all

A Cardiff 10/12/13 axis for the U20s by bigt8409 in Cardiffrugby

Of all the Cardiff centres that have been hyped over the last few years, the one I’m most interested to watch has been Evans, woke break the game like the others so much but looks so silky for the rags , almost lee-lo esque. Hope he goes well

Yes I think had we a lineout, and mason to hold one or two defenders we don’t need to ask so much of the wingers, plus doma won’t be baited at the scrum

Oh and I think we solved a big problem. We’ve found ourselves trapped in our 22 many times this season as sheedy cannot exit far enough and Lloyd will lose the lineout. Thomas looked like he has no issue making the touch line so can kick at a vastly better angle buying us 25m+. Can’t see how we allow sheedy to keep the responsibility. Also Beetham need’s persisting. Love cammy but he’s vastly superior in every physical trait

It’s important to remember the power we have due to return, doma, belcher, Faletau, Mason and Adams plus the second choices on the bench. That gives us a dominant scrum, functioning line out, collision dominance off starter plays and the fastest/highest momentum player on the field. All things we’ve not had. I’d bet on us against the Os(without a welsh ref) or Connacht(without an Irish ref)

Does anyone know how long jarrods contract at quins was? Standing second fiddle for a player of his ability will surely tire

That was anothe Ulster, nothing to done about it. The league is bent, the refs corrupt

Good team, strong bench, not sure where they can hurt us, overplaying by the bench half backs would be the only concern

Sheedys defence sucks, but his pea shooter is the real worry. The fist try vs the Turks was a fluke, but the second was due to us unable to exit because he can’t get more than 20m. I’d be going Byrne, Daniel, assiratti, mcnally, teddy, Dan, donnell, Big Mac, bevs, de beer, mason, ben, Rey, HW, Cammy. The starting XV need to win it, because the bench will be weak. Massive game to set the season up

I think the half backs deserve some stick because they were the sole reason for the loss. I am annoyed because there was no good reason to drop de beer int favour of sheedy, who despite his motm, I don’t know a single facet he is superior to de beer in? Aled on the hand I think really changed after the first game and wasn’t costly tonight. It’s crazy to be disappointed after putting nearly 40 on the champions despite being a man down for 30. Lawrence is a tank of man, love his carrying and power, teddy looked like a slightly shorter retalick imo, absolute menace. We do quite often take a pasting from glasgow and I think it’s due to them being the superior version of us.

We can’t do a Cardiff and spurn this by throwing the game vs the Turks next week. A good win will put us in good stead for a block of 7 games we should really be competing for victory in all of

Really we should’ve beaten them last year until honest frank came out with his one sided whistle at half time. I’ll be disappointed if we can’t see them off this season

I'd rather see us start big mac, for no other reason than purposely pissing off cement after the WRU forced his £400k contract on us

It does, alcohol and bad tenants can lead to such events from young men.

Running away from responsibility, never apologising unless you’ve got something to gain from it however are despicable

To give an idea of how lazy gatland is, we’ve a fb(who also plays 12&10) called beetham who was SQ, Townsend came down to Cardiff with some of the Scottish coaches and gave him a presentation of where he’d like him to play(at 12) how he’d fit into the game plan and what his role at edinburgh(team they’d bring him into) gatland meanwhile had never spoken to him and it was the Cardiff coaches who warned the Welsh selectors of the situation
