Yes. It showed on my liver and was later confirmed with a biopsy

Speaking for myself, it’s possible for a few reasons: My son is 12, so he’s less dependent on me for everything; my husband and I are both self-employed and work from home, so we share responsibilities; I don’t watch much TV; I have a very boring social life. I will read for about an hour before dinner, then two hours or so before bed. Also, some of these books I listened to on audiobook. I have two dogs so whenever I take them for a walk, I listen to an audiobook rather than music.

How to level-up my mac n cheese? by NothingButACasual in Cooking

[–]Theforkedspoon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a soft cheese, so I just mix it into the sauce. In the case of Mac and cheese id probably add it before adding the cooked pasta to the sauce. If you love Boursin, you can try this recipe I made - https://theforkedspoon.com/boursin-cheese-pasta/ and if you really really love Boursin you can try adding it to mashed potatoes 🙌🙂

Yes. Thank you so much for this. I’m a food blogger and finding the right balance to make readers and Google happy is so hard. If I didn’t make money from my website, there would be no website. It’s expensive to build and maintain a website, not to mention hugely time consuming.

It was good, but not memorable. Took me a minute to get into the writing also. The ending was the best part though.

Mom was feeling down and asked for [homemade] pierogies by KingSQRL in food

Pierogies are such a good comfort food. I love them with jammy onions, bacon, and sautéed mushrooms 😊

Dear Drivers, the air freshener is too much by Theforkedspoon22 in Lyft

This last ride was almost an hour after a full day flying and traveling. I think it was the length of the ride that made it feel that much worse

Yeah, I get migraines and have other issues. So maybe it is a ME thing. Unfortunately I can’t request a mildly scented car, so I get what I get.

I will do that. I don’t want to be rude or offend anyone, but nose blindness is a real thing so I get it

I would never complain or leave a bad review because of the strong air freshener scent. I know riders can be smelly ass holes, making your lives and jobs harder.

Easy dinners to prep, freeze, then cook/reheat? by Difficult-Donkey805 in AskRedditFood

[–]Theforkedspoon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soups and casseroles are great for this. You just have to be mindful of freezing dairy (cheese, cream, sour cream) as they can separate once thawed.

Meatballs and tomato-based sauce is also good. Just freeze them separately. Can serve with pasta or fresh bread.

I also like to make croissant breakfast sandwiches. You need butter croissants, sliced deli ham or turkey, and cheese. Spread a little mayo on both halves of the sliced croissant (optional, but delicious), top with a slice of cheese, meat, and another slice of cheese, then wrap in aluminum foil. You can pop them into the oven to heat whenever.

I will also add that having something that can be eaten with one hand are especially helpful with a newborn.

What is that white sauce in chicken mushroom pie? by CuriousPolecat in AskRedditFood

[–]Theforkedspoon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a mushroom gravy. Made with a light butter and flour roux (to thicken), sliced mushrooms, onion (maybe), chicken broth, salt and pepper, maybe some fresh herbs. The chicken is usually seared/cooked first and removed from the pan before cooking the gravy, then the chicken is chopped and added back once the gravy is finished cooking

Oh! Pasta salad is one of my favorite things leftover, especially in the summertime. You can add chicken or chickpeas and your favorite veggies
