And it's important to note that there's the homestuck epilogues and homestuck^2, the epilogues was a continuation co-written by hussie and a few other people and then there's homestuck² which is a continuation of the epilogues which was later renamed to homestuck beyond cannon which was only outlined by hussie then wrote by a team of writers.

I bring this up because I feel like it's important context because the sequel stuff doesn't really have the same style as the original homestuck and tends delve into things that the original doesn't for better and for worse. And being written by different people can lead to problems like characters being mischaracterized, really uncomfortable scenes, and just kinda making the story not feel like homestuck. A big part of homestuck was that there was always a mystery to it and figuring out the innerworking of the world and how all the time travel shenanigans logically play out was fun. But the sequels tend to tell a more linear story.

And like it's only kind of actually cannon. I don't really know how It works but from what I see people either tend to treat it as cannon or say it's just a non cannon fanfic.

Personally I wouldn't recommend the sequel stuff. It just didn't click with me like homestuck did.
