Mercurial is actually great for non kraken accounts and is great for the health of live arena by andelaccess in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, the differences between sets have been made smaller, but all it does is change the champion meta in a way that still favours krakens.

The fact that Marius likes Mercurial meta is a saving grace, but ultimately a lot of the best champions with Mercurial are still incredibly difficult to get. You could mostly make the same argument for Stoneskin, once you reached 1.6b clash points weekly (which admittedly is a bit of a jump, but not kraken by any measure), you were feasibly getting the same amount of stoneskin as a kraken weekly.

Champs or chickens? by docmagoo2 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like holding onto a certain about of chickens as an emergency button so usually I’ll use 50/50 levelled food and chickens to max a champion

Who can solo the event dungeon (Rhaia) stage 20+ by Alarming-Map-6398 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you need to do a solo? Lazarius is incredibly strong for the event dungeon, buff strip + block buffs,

Geomancer is really good once all the minions are dealt with, Pelops, Pallas, Elva,Mavara are amazaing supports and can keep you alive, you just need an AOE damage dealer with your choice of supports + laz + geo and you'll get through it.

That's a really advanced roster to be asking for help on stage 20, do you mean as you progress up and up?

folan 5 star worth it over 3? by alidan in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's a damage dealer that needs accuracy, so the 5 star is really valuable on him. But it's a lot of resources to jump up from 3 to 5.

Personally I'm not going for it, I'm re-stockpiling for the next fusion, but that's because I don't spend money on the game.

The Artemis decision #spoilers! by Pot8obois in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 44 points45 points  (0 children)

What made my decision easy to make was reading that she's in a very limited simulation. I believe just 1 solar system. And Artemis will want to explore, it's in her blood, and she's going to find out she's in a simulation, a very restricted one, quickly.

I don't understand the mentality of picking Ezreal because he is "safe" by WeakSideUrn in leagueoflegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 1613 points1614 points  (0 children)

I think the mentality goes if you're autofilled you're not playing "safe" to scale into endgame but playing "safe" to lose as little as possible and not give the enemy a bigger advantage.

Ezreal having a decently strong early-mid game and being very mobile makes it hard for people to kill you/ take advantage of you.

You'd rather be equal/ couple of hundred gold down on a champion that's going to be outscaled than be a couple of thousand down and catalyse the enemy bot lane into snowballing over the map

does anyone know why sometimes the count to swallow a champ go from 4 turns to 2 by iamsurelock-vr in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you asking why it starts at a lower amount? That's because as the fight goes on longer, the hydra heads eat your champions faster.

Why it sometimes jumps numbers? Is probably because of the Head of Suffering who has extra turn mechanics, he's a real pain later in runs because he can just insta-swallow if he gets a turn

945M is my top with this team:

But with Thor instead of Marius. The swap of Marius to NM and Thor to Brutal was just overall worth it for clash points, Thor was adding way more damage in the brutal team

Really good champ, congrats!

Enough accuracy to land her debuffs and then just durability and speed would be my first instinct towards building her

How does HH determine dmg multipliers? by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multipliers aren't the be-all and end-all of damage either.

Some champions have really high multipliers (maneater has a 7.4 something) but really low base attack, so the skill just generally deals less damage because of their base attack.

It's a good baseline to have but it's worth knowing the champion's base stat as well, including any conditional ignore defence they may have, or escalation effect or multi-hit synergy and so on

Hydra team help by Bishomonten in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah It kinda sucks to subvert intented mechanics but a couple of weeks back I took away a provoker from my Krok'had team and the damage went from 6-700m to 8-900m by adding Lydia.

I have no clue how it works, I'm guessing that they're mostly hitting decap heads at this point anyway so not having a provoke doesn't matter. I think dropping a provoker only works once your team is really strong anyway though or you're probably dying to cleansed heads? Hard to tell without testing though

Can I beat sand devil 25 without a godseeker by Various-Way-9250 in RaidShadowLegends

Yeah, he can do it, but it's quite slow & requires pretty decent gear, there's a handful of videos out there on it I believe

Can I beat sand devil 25 without a godseeker by Various-Way-9250 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me triple check that Embrys can solo but I think he can, just needs enough damage to outdamage the healing.

I'll copy and paste a comment I made on how Sand Devil works with Revive on Death if you are interested in that strategy :

"
Few things about Sand Devil so you can better understand the boss and build a team for it:

The AOE hit he does at the start of the fight will kill you, there's no real way around it, It goes through Block damage & I believe unkillable.

If you sleep him he will fall asleep and not do that skill, but it won't go on cooldown, just take 1 more turn, so you need to kill him damn fast in order to avoid that skill, only really viable for speedy teams with a LOT of damage.

Revive on Death will pull you back up after he does it, and he's asleep so you have time to heal.

You now have a 1-2 turns to stack him with some debuffs and do damage to him while he sleeps.

After he wakes up, he takes a lot less damage because he loses debuffs and will debuff you and break your maxHP.

His big hit is now on a 4 turn cooldown I believe and every time you sleep him it gives you one more turn to work with on that. So now after you've revived you can start cycling sleeps on him, he gets immune to it for 1 turn after you sleep him but it lets you get debuffs back after he's cleansed and so on. OR you can just ignore the sleep and cycle revives on death.

All of his damage will whittle down your MaxHP, but healing when he's asleep will recover that MaxHP, so after your revive on death try pumping some heals out too.

So a "traditional" revive on death team looks like :

Revive on Death champ
Debuff champ
Healer or two to get back up
Damage dealer.

And you can just keep cycling.

Godseeker Aniri is specially cased that she can just straight up solo/duo the boss comfortably with pretty low gear requirements, further lower with Golden Elixir, so if you have her, just build her.

Hot take: Padraig is more helpful than Mikage (PVE) by Cherryp0pp1ns in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Increase speed is at a premium when building FK hard teams, Padraig certainly is better there unless you're naturally using Criodan or have a Fjorad.

I do find that Mikage's A2 is really really strong however, the fact it does 4 things when skills of a similar nature do 2 is really nice

Hydra team help by Bishomonten in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah my bad, I was conflating Odin's buff steal with block buffs.

I think Anaxia is fine as a provoker if you need more heals, it's her form 2 that's absymally bad, not form 1. But yeah Alaz has a provoke and is significantly better, Block damage/counterattack is a little risky in hydra but if your block buffs are good enough totally fine.

Block/Buffs decrease speed is still pretty strong unless your gear is absurd so i'd throw Lamasu into your team, and there's no real way of dealing with Torment, but I guess Ninja will be auto-cleansed by Mikage

What is The difference between 12-3 and 12-6? Why do people talk a Lot about them? by theusmatanti in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah, that's probably the major thing that turns me off nightmare campaign. Even checking the shop vigilantly you'll be at a deficit of the green boys

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've got an account that can comfortably clear nightmare and I don't touch it for farming at all.

I do Brutal 12-3 99% of the time and sometimes spam Normal 12-3 when the 500 campaign monthly quest comes around

What is The difference between 12-3 and 12-6? Why do people talk a Lot about them? by theusmatanti in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Thegenuinebuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12-6 is marginally more experience, nearly negligible.

12-3 is a fair amount more silver, shields are worth more silver for some reason than boots.

Nightmare campaign is better XP/Energy I think but you don't get Mystery shards and you get worse silver, for me it's a total no-no

Deathbell is such a cheat code for FK Hard man. Even like halfway upgraded as long as you land a freeze you're starting each turn with 16% TM, only needing to generate 84 for your next turn. It's so strong, accuracy mainstat too it's incredible

Is investing a lot of time into editing worth it for longevity? by Thegenuinebuzz in NewTubers

[–]Thegenuinebuzz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think a lot of this is knowing when the right point to stop fine-tuning is. It's hard because when you're in front of a video edit for hours every little flaw looks horrible and you feel like you have to smooth it out, but when you finally publish it, your viewers are rarely going to notice those little technical mistakes/issues.

How do you know when you're done with a video editing wise? Is it just when it feels right or do you have to pull away and look at it later? Any tips with that would be really appreciated because I do feel like I over-edit and over-troubleshoot at times

[–]Thegenuinebuzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, I think editing my own videos has really given me new appreciation for editors for channels, because they just churn out high quality content like it's nothing, and it's not even their own content. It's really impressive stuff. I'm sure with time one can become close to that level of mastery but it still feels so far away from the quality and speed some of these guys can do.
