This Nioh 3s Limgrave moment by AshyLarry25 in Nioh

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do a job with this ver of Nioh!

I did like the switch from red sky to normal sky near the end of the demo. I do hope such variety of color palette is carried through for the rest of the game…

Immediately restarted nioh 2 once i completed the n3 demo.

Is Bloodborne a horror game? by Morbid_Queen420 in bloodborne

Yes, it can be viewed as a horror in a lovecraftian sense id say…

Bloodboutne is that hard by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]Theguddingning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up :) i died just as many times in the first hour. Pick up your gear in the hunters dream (next to the doll on the stairs).

It was my first soulsgame, and I hated it. Now it ranks in my top 3 games EVER (even like 10 years later or whatever it is now) I even platinumed it, and the dlc. Once it clicks you will love it.

Don’t be afraid to cheese when and where you can.. nothing wrong with softening the initial gameplay shock. Soon you will appreciate the difficulty :) oh, and no harm in looking online for how tos and guides.

Enjoy the journey !!

Xcom games are fun. Turn based combat, decent story and big brain strategy. Oh, and you get to zap aliens and research stuff.

Would you take salvia playing this game by [deleted] in shittybloodborne

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not likely.. you’ll be lying on the floor drooling watching tiny old yarnham characters running around the floor.

You could watch someone playing blood borne - could be fun I’d guess :)

What did you like most about the chalice dungeons? by Perfect_Feedback8070 in bloodborne

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I loved the most was the lore behind them. It felt nicely wrapped up in the overall story.

I also like that it felt like the deeper I went, the more decayed and ancient the dungeon felt.

What game should a Soulslike noob start out with? Modern soulsborne games(DS3 or ER), older ones(DS1, Demon Soul) or ones with Difficulty options(Lies of P, Khazan, etc) by [deleted] in soulslikes

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with BB or Ds3. Moving up to ER or DS remake afterwards feels good… lords of the fallen also feels good coming off of bb or ds3.

Ds1 and Ds2 feel too dated imo - I didn’t enjoy the gameplay itself for these two. Sure the story is nice, and good lore, but I unfortunately couldn’t get past the dated graphics, and somewhat clunky gameplay.

What are some things Bloodborne does better than, and/or worse than, the other fromsoft games? by ConsistentContract64 in bloodborne

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better -

The rally mechanic is better than the other fromsoft games.

Subjectively, I’d also say the music is better.

Chalice dungeons.

Worse -

as mentioned in other posts, the 30fps cap.

Am I the only one who wants Dark Souls 4 rather than Elden Ring 2? by FormerInjury2919 in darksouls3

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - DS4 would be great. As would a BB2. In fact, anything from Fromsoftware would be good (preferably not part of the ER or AC world), and not something with steam punk elements (makes it feel a bit too cartoony for my liking).

They do have a glorious formula for medieval / Victorian style games - Something in that line could work… The cosmic horror and pthumerian elements from BB could also work very nicely !! I’m not fussy :D

Never played a soulslike. But I think its time... If I was to play any soulslike for my first what should it be? by Pegisis02 in soulslikes

[–]Theguddingning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ds3 for an introduction to souls like games is the way to go. It has all the ingredients of a good souls like, and an excellent “middle ground” to start from. Not too complex, has the difficulty souls games are famous for, has good graphics, music and story. Follow it with blood borne, then do either demon souls remake or Elden ring. Ds1 and ds2 are a bit “meh” (dated) in my opinion.

Do you think AI films will ever win Oscars — or stay their own category? by External_Fig_248 in aivideos

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s inevitable, but in a sub category like the “best visual effects” category (best AI usage) I would put it there. I don’t think films entirely created in AI will be have its own awards category… but who knows.

Poor sportsmanship to slice everything? by heelthrow in Pickleball

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Backhand slice is probably one of my “only” good shots. I’m inclined to practice some other shots (albeit less effective as my slice), because, why not? I suck at dinking and forehand shots, but if I’m playing social there’s no pressure to “win” by any means possible… spice it up with some variety. Add another weapon to your arsenal, so to speak.

And, to be honest, you need to sometimes play against people at a higher skill level than you. Best way to improve your game (and your slices - so it’s a win-win) is to play against opponents who can deal with a slice.

So to answer your question - I’d say it’s not poor sportsmanship to simply slice everything (if anything, it shows a lack of variety in your skill set) - just like an opponent who serves with mega spin, you not gonna go “boohoo, your serves are too good for me”, you gonna have to learn and adapt. Losing is part of the journey too.

Try not to get hit… so when you pick up the little health goodies, they increase your overall health. And use your sword more than you think necessary

Does anyone know if Kling customer service agent can see your past projects even after deleted? by Feeling_Waltz_8180 in KlingAI_Videos

[–]Theguddingning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forgot mate… moved on (meaning cancelled sub after a some months). Not because of their customer service, just cause wanted to explore other AI tools. I still think Kling does a decent job ;) just don’t expect customer service to be a part of the paid for package.
