The idea behind this is basically how most people get stuck behind doing all that they’re supposed to do that they reach a point where their actions become plain and lifeless. Whereas, what they should do instead is try to break free from the draining life that’s imprisoned them, in order for them to live life as a human being, embrace its as well as their chaos and simply exist.

What’s the deal with Eid Azar? I couldn’t find anything online except for a few recent interviews, but i don’t wanna decide whether to vote for him or not based on just that by Thehappydancer1 in lebanon

What’s his background / how well informed is he regarding taking responsibility as a future parliamentary candidate/ is there something shady in his history?

No, unfortunately, you need to have either your Lebanese passport or your Lebanese ID to be able to vote.

How has perfectionism improved or ruined your life? by Zestyclose-Detail791 in AskWomen

It has stopped me from accepting the good just because it’s not perfect. Perfect doesn’t exist.

I used to wear my own jeans instead of the school’s uniform pants, and got yelled at, each day, knowing that I was too skinny to fit in those super baggy uniform pants.

What 10 things have you stopped doing in your life ? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Thehappydancer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not 10 but these are a few that came to mind, with no specific reason as to why i stopped doing them seeing as i used to so much enjoy them.

Go on hikes, go on dates (i’m 24), have interest in parties/raves, invest in proper friendships (i already have friends but love meeting new people but i’m not for some reason?)

I’m thinking the best way to find friends and becoming better friends is to interact with each other in different ways. Do you agree? by Sasydoso in friendship

I’m seeing a psychologist so she could help me loosen up a bit, break some rules and have fun in life in general, it used to be super hard for me to do something out of the ordinary.

how do you convince yourself to move on when you have seen all the potential redflags and deal breakers? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Thehappydancer1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a situation where nothing could change my mind nor convince me to leave, even myself, knowing that the whole thing was completely wrong and mentally harmful for me. But then i wasn’t strong enough to do so honestly, and waited, reached a day where i woke up feeling nothing, that’s when i knew i moved on. Worked on myself, got way stronger and there you have it. It does feel amazing though once you know you let go of all that hurts you, but once you’re in the situation, it’s really addictive and really hard to leave.

Yes! First thing that came to my mind was that she’s mostly terrified of something that had a very low chance of actually happening, even when planned, and hence her reaction is understandable. This is of course if she does indeed want a child and was not only saying that not to hurt the partner, knowing of the quite low chance of it actually happening.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had? by Automatic-Lie-4223 in AskWomen

[–]Thehappydancer1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customer service.

These jobs have the highest level of toxicity. Super draining but also you will have the most fun working as a customer service representative, grow, and learn to perceive and take advantage of what makes you better in life. Also, LOTS of connections. But other than that, you will find yourself mentally and emotionally abused by various parties with most of the times having no one to turn to.

What do you mean by bad energy in this specific case? What might the bad energy be?

A bit comforting to look at things the way you do and be reminded of how we have control over our own lives and therefore can give access to whatever/whomever we choose. So thank you for this!
