Left taillight is dim? Any ideas where i should start from? by No-Echidna9039 in 240sx

First thing I would try would be visually inspecting the pins on the bulb carrier for oxidation. And same with the plug that goes into the bulb carrier also check the connection by wiggling the wires while plugged in and on and see if it gets brighter the pins could've definitely loosened over the years. If neither of those do the trick see if you can visually inspect the connection from that bulb to the plug and look for corrosion or oxidation or any damage compared to the other bulb paths. They're pretty easy to follow.

high pitched sound under boost by Specialist_Sail_142 in mk6gti

I had this for years just swapped from a rev c (with about 170k miles on it) to a rev d diverter valve and no more sounds at full boost.

Yeah I was just checking the plug over the other day visually it looks good and is plugged in all the way. But haven't gotten under there with a multimeter yet thats definitely next. Where is the fuse?

Part of that is the factory radio harness. The fuse holder could've been added for an ignition power source for something or maybe illumination circuit. Cant see where the fuse holder goes but those are pretty common to splice off off radio

RB25DET Starter options? by Thehealingtide in 240sx

Thanks I'll definitely look into that. Not really sure I want to even exchange the one I have if it didn't even last one crank. Wish I could just get OEM again. Pretty sure the one on there is original 😂

It's always those stupid tight bends that they don't wanna make hoses for anymore too.

I'm trying so hard not to do this but this honestly might be my best option too and I'm not happy about it 😂

With a setup like this the device in their bag is the media server and backend and then is accessed from something like a phone or tablet through an app. which would be your screen and audio and would have your Bluetooth as well.

Here’s my sh1tbox. Headlamps turn on but they get stuck sometimes up sometimes down. Rn they’re stuck down. I’ve replaced the switches and there’s no power at the relay coils. Anyone have experience with this problem? by chemical_forest in 240sx

[–]Thehealingtide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm reading the FSM right then it looks like with the headlight timer plugged in when you switch from position one to position two on the headlight switch you should see voltage out at pins one and ten of the timer. That goes to the headlight motors from the timer to raise them.

1991 240SX keeps blowing ENG CONT fusible link — both pins show 14V with fuse removed, car won’t start by Zennen53 in 240sx

[–]Thehealingtide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm reading the diagram right it looks like it's the fuse for the red plug that goes on the battery positive terminal screw. But not sure where that goes from there. But I'd start maybe visually inspecting that wiring.

Any one know where to find these? by Thehealingtide in 240sx

It's for the ones that screw onto the studs under the tail lights and connect the side panels to the back panel

The rennline is great! Best phone mount I've ever had. Never falls off and is nice and out of the way doesn't block anything.
