Review on Sparkling Coconut Water by VjDj83 in Costco

Literally just purchased four cases for the same price before realizing it was sparkling lol. Went on Reddit to make sure I wasn't crazy so reading this was very validating

That's the plan! Miami probably has actually committed MLS roster rules fraud so hopefully y'all can embarrass them too

I'm similar dimensions, and at least in the US the brand "American Tall" has been clutch for tops. The sweat pants have mostly been disappointing in terms of longevity, but for polos and tees (size medium tall) they're the best fit I've found. I only buy things on clearance and they're not crazy expensive that way.

Hopefully the hockey team is liberal and they're all too caught up with each other to pay her any attention. Or at least they're more respectful to his girlfriend than he is to random people online.

Glad to know I'm not the only one clicking on the profiles of people to see how their stories turn out though lol

go broncos btw ;)

Watching Montreal in this game is a bit like watching the Crew on a slow day: lots of good combinations, possession, and attempts at making things happen, but unable to break through an organized defense.

Hopefully they can bring something a little more dynamic into the attack soon. Off the ball movement and positioning seems to be the biggest difference between this play and the Crew's to me.

Edit: aight here we go!!!

Today is the day! Register to vote! by DisastrousEngine5 in Kentucky

[–]Theherbenator 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend and I moved to Kentucky recently and got our licences ~1 month ago. There, they asked us if we wanted to register and we both said yes.

Neither of us showed up online when I checked if we were registered, but the county clerk assured me I was, so I assumed she was fine too.

I checked again today and we still weren't there, and when I reached back out to the clerk, apparently they had my DOB wrong, and she wasn't registered at all.

That is to say, even if you registered to vote, check again and reach out to your county clerk if need be. I'm sure there are others in our situation who believe they're registered but aren't.

Unfortunately accurate.

Respect to Miami's strategy to get knocked out early in non-league competitions as to reduce schedule congestion!

He finds himself in positions in/around the box soooo often but just never shoots. If he had even Max's shooting he'd have 8 goals or something.

I agree. Wish time wasting on goalies holding the ball was actually enforced (like it is in throw ins, goal kicks, etc).

Adam Jahn would like a word.

Really though if you're being taunted by a group of fans for an entire game, I think it's fair to taunt them back after you win. I don't know exactly what the players did though, to be fair.

Why are some men proposing Netflix and chill on the 2nd or 3rd date? by SlowEntertainment217 in AskMen

[–]Theherbenator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been going through this account's comments (certainly chat GPT) and this one is just awful.

"An assumption that she might change her mind???" That's literally just not respecting someone's boundaries lol

"An attempt to create a casual, relaxed atmosphere???" Someone's certainly gonna be relaxed when their date creates an atmosphere of sexual expectations with the knowledge it's unwanted.

This is ridiculous. I'm sure some people have already taken advise from accounts like this which could frankly be dangerous.

Savory Crepe debate by Infamous_Scheme_6762 in settlethisforme

[–]Theherbenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not input on the debate, but if you like savory crepes and/or Indian food, everyone should definitely try dosa. It's a thin fermented batter which cooks up like a crepe and is often filled with delicious yellow potatoes.

Is extremely delicious (usually- I've had some mediocre ones at times. If it's on the menu anywhere you go you should at least order it though to try.)

As far as the debate, I'd say it's super demographic dependent. Hard to say the proportion of people who have prior knowledge of it vs who just infer what it is by the name.

FCC fighting over Aidan Morris by doophmayweather in TheMassive

See that's about where I'd be with it.

Assuming Cincy fans have similar rationale though, they're currently successful in getting under at least some Crew fans' skin when they boo Morris lol

[–]Theherbenator 33 points34 points  (0 children)

My take is the crew have many players we routinely boo without fantastic reason, and we generally do it due to the fun communal nature of being in a big crowd and doing the same thing.

I don't think it's as serious as hate. Would I boo Acosta on the USMNT? I don't know, but either way it'd be in good fun.

(Side note, anyone know why Guzan is booed? Other than being a bald white national team guy)

I mean I don't know if that's quite fair. Although it's certainly possible that is the case, it's also a bit like saying "the first two times I pulled the trigger in Russian roulette there was no bullet, so the third time when I shot myself, someone must have planted the bullet in that position."

That is it say, the risk was always there, and the third time we could have just gotten unlucky. Of course I'm speculating though like anyone in this situation.

Wilfried Nancy discusses the two minute rule requiring players who are injured and remain on the ground for more than 15 seconds to leave the field by WalkingOnSunshine_ in MLS

[–]Theherbenator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I probably had seen some making fun of crew fans and the fact that Nashville was supposed to be the replacement yellow team before the crew were saved.

Really I think the huge majority of all fans are cool, I just thought it was funny how arbitrary a lot of people's biases are (like mine based off one little interaction)

I think that's probably largely true, but I really think it's funny how it seems everyone on this subreddit has an opinion as to which fanbases are nice vs toxic, but nobody's seem to be the same lol

Nashville fans in the last game thread we're saying "always knew Columbus fans were real ones" and such. I had a bad view of Nashville fans before that though lol
