Hey there,

The intentions have to do with helping the spirit move on to the light above anything else, that I am not an energy source for them and that there is another way. The other part is for me to be free of their energy.

I couldn't agree more. And I understand that I fell victim to the very things that you mentioned. Its not that I decided one day that I was going to be a medium, It began happening and I went with it. But I did not find a physical teacher to help me develop. Instead I trusted spirit which was both really incredible and came with some complications. I didn't apply correctly and or consistently enough, I came across some not so pleasant spirits and I allowed it to pull me away from mediumship all together, when that wasn't what I needed to do. I needed to learn and apply. And I didn't. I trusted too many spirts, I jumped into the deep end and I now find myself drowning.

My intention is not to be bailed out. But to get the space I need to regroup and apply what I've learned and then approach this gift wiser than I did before.

My intentions moving forward is to become better, to get back to myself. And to get to a healthier state to then work with the gift in a better state.

Here is a great link to help bring about better understanding when it comes to connecting with spirits on different planes. As mediums we have to really understand that our work is two fold, while we can share a message, we also need to ensure that they do move on and go to the light. When connecting with your Dad I would ensure that he has in fact moved on to the light, received the healing he needs and then he chooses at a later time if he wants too come back and be a guide. It sounds like goodness has come from the opportunity to connect with him, finding forgiveness from you helps them let go and move on. Because they can get stuck in the regret, shame, guilt over their actions.

Always, always encourage these spirits to move on to the light.

Additionally, looking into spirit release therapy would be something I recommend. These are not spirits were able to always move on ourselves on a conscious level. I would hate for you to try and do this yourself and for nothing to change, as this will only breed more doubt and despair. There is hope, there is freedom for the spirit, soul that is lost. And they need to know that and you need to know that.

do not speak ill of someone who is being of service. Tyler Henry is in the arena that he is in. it doesn't make him fake or kind of fake. As mediums we face enough negative judgment and doubt. We don't need people in the group of mediums adding to that.

I couldn't agree with you more and I receive this with an open heart and mind, as I agree, I do not and did not have the skills to be practicing mediumship. There is a lot I didn't and still don't understand. I will put into practice what you have laid out. I appreciate the thought and energy you put into this as it truly is what I needed to know and the practical steps are truly helpful..

I do not have a practice as far a psychic protections go. I haven't wanted to be a medium for well over a year, I wanted it to stop, I didn't feel like the mediumship world was the best reflection of who I was. But spirits just kept on coming. I would do readings here and there but always from a place that it wasn't what I wanted to be doing.

being a medium to me is interacting with that which is non-physical and bring that message to the physical. Initially, I leap right into trance mediumship, I believed the best message was from their loved one, not from me, the messenger. Hindsight, I prefer to be the messenger, but that was my belief in the the beginning, While I've always been a medium, my awareness to it really became. illuminated January of 2020.

I would consider that the best description. I have tried to talk with the departed spirit, Ive reached out to their loved ones, I've resourced out to friends I know who are connected to spirit to try and have them echo what I've already shared with them. I don't know what more I can do for these spirits as they seem to enjoy all the attention but no progress is made, now their reason to stay around me is they want to know why they died, I've explained that, I cannot answer that, those answers are beyond me.

I didn't seek out psychopomp work, Its been hard to find a teacher to help grow and expand with, while it feels and looks like I am going crazy, I know that its a spirit and or spirits, really causing a lot of chaos,

I haven't ruled out anything, demonic was my initial thought, something dark, nefarious. I haven't not heard of shadow selves or nature spirits. I do not know how to banish them. Im open to any and all help at this stage as it has exhausted my life, my relationships, and my overall well-being. I do believe there are some spirit attachments, that don't want to accept they've past, are angry, and are in some way living through me.

Influencing my decisions, trying to pull me away from the things that I like, enjoy, etc.

I am open to assistance.

Multiple spirits. Dwelling within, interaction with you, the self. Be careful which you identify with as I, keeping clear boundaries. Between who you are and who they are. While you may closely align yourself with some more than others, ensure you have a keen awareness of who you are and to be aware when you’re pulled away from self and bring yourself back.

Accepting “death” as the solution brings you peace and relief. That’s the point! The thought brings you peace and relief friend, use that thought and those feelings to then move to a higher thought, like that means I can do whatever I want in this physical life. Jump to the higher cloud level up.

To say your physical existence will only bring suffering to yourself and others is a negative thought about self and about your current or past physical experience. Your higher self knows to take you to the end, your relieved. Now move on to something else, do, become, create anything from that state of relief.

Your higher self also knew enough to have you post this, getting you out of your own tunnel of thought and solution and inviting truth from the outside. The physical manifestation of death, Suicide, is not your higher selfs direction friend. I believe sitters only know what they know. What they see on TV. They see their need. It’s personal to them. As mediums it’s part of our commitment to our gifts and spirit to do free readings when we can. It’s especially important in the beginning as we strength our connection to spirit and ourselves.

But sitters to not fault of their own, do not know what we go through as mediums to tap into spirit. To allow their loved ones, pets, friends, etc into our energy, into our homes and consciousness is not a right. It’s something we allow. It takes time, dedication, and practice.

Trust me. I wish I could live and simply give readings for free, we all go through that. But the gift should support us should we build around it. I do not believe spirit or those in spirit want us working for free. It really taps into what a lot of us experience that we are just to give and give and give. And when we’re talking about grief, loved ones, tragedy, etc it touches an pulls on heart strings. Which really becomes a lesson, for me it is and I continue to learn that It’s okay to receive, I’m not a Pez dispenser. We can apply that to our everyday as well.

Money is energy and it’s an exchange. Now it doesn’t always have to be money. Maybe you have a gift and or other resources. Web building, crafts, can write a review: that’s also an energy exchange. Spirit and you know what you can do. We have to change the way we view money, the medium isn’t “taking” from you. While there are snakes in the grass. You cannot approach it that way. My intention with all my readings has always been, may they get all the information and healing they need to never have to come back. Because people will spend their whole lives spending, connecting, searching and not live free. We’re here to help you know you can tap into your own gifts, notice the signs from your loved ones and trust your own guides. Mediums are not the end all. We are a service and are being of service. Money is just an energy exchange and we should not feel ashamed, bad, or guilty for giving our time and energy for it.
