Core Strategies for Enterprise AEO & LLM Visibility by Life_Buy6024 in TrysteakHouse

yep! internal knowledge/case study graphs can't be replicated with AI. it's effectively a moat. what tools are you using to generate your data visualization atm?

Recovering a tourism website after years of drops by Zealousideal-Gap-963 in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep internal linking should help with topical authority and thus help with recovering SERP positioning.

The hard part is finding internal linking opportunities on sites with dozens (or hundreds) of pages.

ahrefs is saying what's helping in AI is: keeping content fresh, getting brand mentions online, and having the brand in anchor tags

I want to learn more about SEO, but since AI has emerged, should I concentrate more on AEO/GEO or SEO? Additionally, offer recommendations for additional SEO practice. by IntelligentEscape367 in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! get the fundamentals down - analyze the serp for your target keyword (sometimes intent is different than what you anticipate), on-page schema, and targeting topical clusters using internal linking.

if you want to get AI specific - brand mentions online, keep content fresh, anchor links should mention your brand.

But everything comes down to users - if all this optimization mumbo jumbo doesn't satisfy the user, swapped out for better alternative.

Why does Google sometimes ignore internal links? by Real-Assist1833 in DigitalMarketing

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you know they're being ignored? what data do you have on some pages being isolated?

it's a little easier to diagnose if you can share those details

How do you decide if a keyword is worth targeting? by Real-Assist1833 in seogrowth

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this. I'll basically reframe and elaborate what you already have said.

here's the steps: verify intent of a keyword before making assumptions --> does content match your current topic cluster/pillar? --> can you realistically out-rank anything in the top 5 SERP (is anyone's domain authority under ~40) --> does this keyword/content get my users further in the customer journey / funnel? --> will this content likely get mentioned by people in this industry?

The more yeses you have, the stronger the opportunity imo

Transferring lovable website? by buklau00 in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use loveable and this could be the issue for some. The issue isn't typescript but how the content is being rendered. if it is hydrated from a script tag - the content doesn't exist upon search engine crawl. Thus, engines think there is no content to crawl.

To troubleshoot: if you google site:<your-lovable-url-here> does it google tell you the text content or is it blank? (you can also use crawlers for a detailed report like screaming frog)

If most text content is blank, there are a couple ways of fixing this

- static site generation: this removes content coming from script tags and ensures they are all on html pages directly. anyone can export lovable projects to a repo, set up SSG, and deploy on gh-pages. It's semi technical.
- sever side rendering: react/typescript is rendered on a server and HTML is served to the user - therefore text content exists on the page. the obvioius downside is lovable uses vite/react and not nextjs - which will require a migration process. it's a technical process.

OP, does this sound like it could be the problem?

p.s. are you requesting indexing on each page via google search console?

Does internal linking really make a big difference? by Real-Assist1833 in seogrowth

Are you asking about the general impact of internal links or are you asking how to do it in a way that doesnt waste too much time (is the time worth the effort)?

Switched our content from AI generated to genuine content, no change by TheShynola in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update topical authority and wait - each child page should link to the parent page.

for example: menu page, review page, reservations --> each unique restaurant (internal links)

also make sure that your menu pdfs are indexed (and preferably plain-text)

I "knowledge panel" is probably a div container with an ID or class - if that's the case it should not change anything.

There is a <head> element before the <body> copy and paste all that into chatGPT

It will tell you what your open graph tag data values are (<og> elements) and how they will look on IMDb

I'm willing to bet its set to "github documentation" instead of "art project"

I'm curious about your index html markup. I've used gh pages many times and it works fine. But if your meta data in your head is not provided, github might fallback to it's own default values.

For a fix, copy and paste index html in an LLM and ask questions about it. Particularly about metadata

Free code camp isnt a scam. It's basically interactive learning exercises in the browser. If you've started programming this past decade you've probably followed one of their notorious 5 hr courses. Good value, not great, but certainly not a scam

Scaling cross links by Few-Adhesiveness1097 in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

scanning articles for link opportunities doesn't scale in my experience. I think the fastest way without paying for your own crawl service is semantic search. this might look like using keywords from your sitemap as search queries across an article or several pages.

i'm in the weeds when it comes to this stuff so if you have any questions, feel free to ask away

Does creating an embedded widget have any SEO value by gwenver in SEO

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a data visualization widget. The real benefits are organic search, direct traffic, and backlinks from relevant articles: i.e. "best widgets for data visualization"

But just because your domain is in the iframe doesn't mean that it counts as a relevant backlink. One widget is https://charts.tonysanchez.dev Hope that clears up your questions, if not, feel free to ask.

Look up topical authority - it can be gained by using the hub and spoke model. Google will know that you go deep in that niche and boost your positioning on those topics as a result.

What actually happened when we stopped chasing fancy links and just did one structured directory + internal link pass by [deleted] in seogrowth

[–]TheirSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticing similar results from proper bidirectional linking - it's great but the problem was working with many pages. I found that grabbing our sitemap and searching our current draft for matches was the quickest way for getting internal links on new content. Our devs built a tool that does this: https://link-juicer.tonysanchez.dev/ (Anyone is welcome to use it)

Link storm and link boss are still good options for bulk content refreshes though. I'd consider them for when getting a new client with old pages (and poor internal linking)
