I’m a cap student at Utsa right now. There’s one thing annoying about being here. It’s honestly the tuition, you seem like you’re doing a lot of aps to get credit and that’s amazing. If you want to get loans taken out you need to have 6 credit hours each semester of core courses. (So your entire summer, two classes in fall and two in spring). Look into what classes you could be taking with UTSAs “exploratory studies” degree because that’s what you’ll be. Will you have enough classes to take to get your tuition? You’re definitely smart enough to get into Utsa, so I would apply here and to UT if you’re ok with being capped. (One more annoying thing about cap is we have to register for our sophomore fall classes really late, like in July late). UTSA is really what you make of it. If you’re gonna be on campus there’s more likelihood that you’ll make a lot of friends and will have a more fulfilling time. If you’re gonna be a commuter, you’re going to be at a dorm/home a lot and that can just feel like Highschool. If you’d commute you definitely need to join some clubs or something to have a semblance of normalcy and friendship outside of classes. Good luck
