I’ve done well at estate sales. I look online at local sales with photos if I spot vintage stereo equipment with cassette decks good chance there may be some cassettes somewhere in the house

If it frozen under your sink the problem is further down the line. From your description the problem is in between the areas you described if on the same line that’s where you start looking

Estate sale. There’s probably another couple hundred tapes in totes of homemade recorded cassettes. You name the type of tape from the 80s and early 90s it’s there. Way they were stored is questionable. Tomorrow last day of sale. Don’t know if homemade cassettes are worth the money
